Because Trump is still in office, and he has made it clear that he will seek retribution against anyone who provides damaging information about him to either the press or to Congress. He is a petty and vindictive person. He has already called for Jennifer Griffin to be fired... for just doing her job. And if you don't think he has some pull at Fox News, you are delusional.

I would have to see proof before I would believe it based on the lies already told by the left about Trump, Russiagate, Nunes, Kavanaugh, etc. Talk is cheap, especially by a bunch of miscreants..

I don't think it would make a difference with you if Trump had made these disparaging remarks on video. You would make excuses to rationalize what he had said. You are tribal in nature. There is nothing Trump could ever do, to turn your opinion against him.

And vote for any of the declared Democrat candidates this cycle other than John Delaney? You may be right.

I would sit it out if Trump was running against any of the other 20, and did something detrimental to the country. He is just a detriment to TDS sufferers.

I don't have a problem with the men who used deferments for education... that is what my dad did. I don't think there is anything wrong with that. The reality is, that most of the men who were drafted didn't have that option and they shouldn't be disparaged. Their service should be honored.

Now that answer I agree with. The running off to Canada and getting false medical deferments is where I have my problem. I still have a bitter taste in my mouth about allowing the ones that ran off back in with no consequences. IF you object on proven moral grounds then you can still serve in some non combat capacity or serve in the Peace Corp.

I think you misunderstood my post. I didn't say it was okay to run off to Canada... and it is a very unfair matter of life in America that the privileged rich kids like George W. Bush, Dan Quayle and Donald Trump could pull strings and dodge service while the poor kids could not. That makes it all the worse when a fortunate son like Trump calls them "suckers".

Nobody that I know has been fired, but read about why Carl Cameron and Shepherd Smith left Fox when they did and you will see that Trump does have considerable pull in that network... and he uses it.

Yes, that is an unfairness that should be corrected. I also feel like everyone male and female should enter into some type of service for the betterment of the country, but I am sure that is just a pipe dream. You have a good day sorry for the mis-understanding.
