I haven’t seen it for Knox County either but I have seen it for Oak Ridge. For OR it wasn’t even a kid who tested positive, it was a kid “showing symptoms” so they forced that kid and everyone they identified through contact tracing to quarantine for 14 days (I think it was right before the 24 day info came out) and the kid with symptoms couldn’t return until he had a negative test. I think the others identified also had to have a negative test to return but I’m not 100% sure on that part. I don’t know that Knox County handles it the same way but I wouldn’t be surprised one bit.
If the kid is an athlete his season is f’ed. After having it and knowing many other people that have, I’m now a firm believer that this is just a bunch of sht. The way the US is reporting numbers is nothing short of criminal. That is horrible. Hopefully Anderson County residents throw the officials for this out of office.
I think the thing to see if the average works out much.In 2016-- 2,744,248 registered deaths in America, 31, 618 more than 2015
In 2017---2,813,503 registered deaths in America, 69,255 more than 2016
In 2018---2,839,205 registered deaths in America , 25, 702 more than 2017
no finals tally given for 2019 on the CDC Website.
If we assigned 45,000 more deaths than the previous years, we would see about 2,884,205 deaths in 2019 in America.
So who really believes that we will have 3,300,000 deaths in America in 2020 because of normal death rate+ coronavirus
Yea, we arent testing.
That’s complete BS.... the TSSAA should grant some exceptions due to Covid. I hate that organizationWe got the phone call a little bit ago. Our high schooler has to quarantine for 14 days. Health department sent a kid back to school with it and exposed other people. I told him have fun playing video games. I’m on my way to sams to get him Gatorade and snacks. But bad thing is. He will miss his first few meets of cross country for his senior year. And will miss enough to not be eligible for districts with a chance for state.
That just sucks. Any possible exemption d/t covid19 regulations? I'd be writing some letters. We got the phone call a little bit ago. Our high schooler has to quarantine for 14 days.
