Kelly wont do that while Trump is in office. Not to that level. And even after Trump leaves office I don’t see Kelly writing a tell all but I wouldn’t be shocked if he loosened up on his disdain for Trump a bit.

By calling the men who served in Vietnam "suckers", he is saying that everyone had the same choice that he had. As if he doesn't understand, that he was among the privileged class. As much as it is disrespectful to the men who served and sacrificed... it is the display of what a 74 year old spoiled rotten punk looks like.

My hot take: The White House knows that John Kelly is the source, and they don't have any way of impugning his integrity. So, they will now shift gears and admit that the core details of the reporting done by Jeffrey Goldberg in The Atlantic, was accurate... but they will say that "The President was just in a bad mood that day, and he just hates war. He didn't really mean what he said. He loves our troops."

The "fake news" narrative was blown away by the Jennifer Griffin report that she gave to Bret Baier. I hate Fox News as much as anyone, but on the rare occasion that they broadcast a report that is damaging to Donald Trump, it carries much more weight than the same report would from any other news organization. It has credibility because we know that the producers and executives at Fox News do not want to report negative stories on President Trump. Their audience hates it when they do this and their ratings go down.
