Anybody attempting to go to an away game this year?

It’s hard to see how it would be worth it. Not even from a virus standpoint, just seems it would be money spent on an experience that wouldn’t be very much fun.

Sorry to get political, but this needed to be said:

Reminds me of the old Far Side cartoon by Gary Larson re: where do boneless chicken wings come from?

A guy ran for Knoxville mayor several years back whose platform was rescinding the requirement that strippers wear pasties.

Memphis had Prince Mongo, who ran for both county and city mayorships from the late 70s until who knows. I haven't lived there since 2010 but I believe he may still be running. Claimed he was from the planet Zambodia, and one of his early campaign platforms was Christmas Everyday.

1. “When elected, I will get rid of all pit bulls and the city council.

Taxes will be optional.”

2. “My education policy is simple: Don’t fool around with the ladies. You’ll lose respect.”

3. “As for industry, it will come in droves, lured from all over the world and Bulgaria. It would have been here sooner if I’d told ‘em to come.”

There was a hot dog vendor (Arnold Zandi) at Neyland that ran for Knoxville mayor at least two times.

Okay, I am going to have to be his biggest cheerleader if it kills me. Nothing gets to me like someone truly giving their all for Tennessee and knowing where home sweet home is. 😭

He's really a good kid. At the bowl game, we sorta stayed in the stands for a few minutes and after JG celebrated with his team mates, he ran to each side of the stadium to greet and talk with the fans. Shook hands and he might have signed autographs. Won me over right there.
