I suspect they fear some kind of retribution from one of the most powerful men in the world and if the John Kelly part hadn't happened, Kelly would have said so. But that's just my opinion, which is worth as much as that of everybody else posting here.

Take the word of the State Superintendent, who is a staunch conservative.

I have to be completely candid with my thoughts on this decision. It is disappointing, shows a complete disconnect with the realities of the classroom, and will be a detriment to public education.

I suspect we are going to see a lot of “afraid unknown sources“ before the election is over . They weren’t afraid until right before we vote , now they are but just have to get the story out . Lol
