Reporting Inactive/Recovered Cases
Starting Sept. 3, TDH case count reports will include figures for “Inactive/Recovered” cases and will no longer include data for “Recovered” cases. “Inactive/Recovered” cases will include people who are 14 days or more beyond their illness onset date (or, for asymptomatic cases, their specimen collection date). This will more closely align with what is now understood about the infectious period of COVID-19, as recent data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention show most patients with COVID-19 are no longer infectious after 10 days.
Previously, TDH considered a case recovered after a 21-day period.

Most talented? Are you freakin kidding? He took a team of nobodies and developed them into what they became...c'mon man.Have you not watched us play AU lately? Right now Bruce owns rick and has a final four while we barely got to the sweet 16 with one of, if not the most, talented teams in UT b-ball history.
Both a very good coaches but Bruce is a step up from rick. So far. This year and on that could definitely change
Exactly..And why were they one of the most talented teams in UT b-ball history? Scouting and coaching perhaps? All those players were 3* recruits (Williams, Schofield, Bone, Alexander, Bowden, Fulky, Turner) . Barnes turned them into one of the best teams. Because he's a great coach. Pearl had more "talent" here and at Auburn. Pearl had one better season at Tennessee than Barnes. I like them both, but Barnes is the better coach IMO.

I’ve never thought stars mattered. Especially in basketball. You either got it or you don’t. It is made up of talent and mindset.
Rick has an eye for TALENT and is elite at developing players. No doubt about it. But to dismiss those players innate ability doesn’t make any sense. It’s not like he injected them with some serum. It was their god given ability. Rick taught them how to use it.
Grant williams had “it” and he was a three star. He won SEC player of the year twice in three years. That’s god given ability. Rick coached him up very well but players make it happen on the court. Not the coach.Sorry man, but that first paragraph is just silly. And your third and fourth sentences even debunk your own opinion. You’re reaching, trying to win an argument.
Logically and historically, basketball recruiting rankings have been more accurate than football recruiting rankings. That’s probably because there are fewer bb players to scout. And also because, as you say, “you either got it or you don’t “ and “it’s made up of talent and mindset”. Those things are more obvious with only 10 players on the court.
You would rather watch players develop than win on the court? Alright. I prefer winning and not just winning, but winning in the big time games. Give me Pearl all dayIt's called player development, the main reason I prefer Barnes over Pearl. Well, besides Barnes doesn't lie and cheat, 2 more reasons
Vols are winning and will continue to under Barnes. Yeah, Pearl got his Final 4, a couple of years ago. The Vols' Final 4 is coming, u can enjoy it or go cheer for Pearl and Auburn, I choose the former. U and I, just need to agree to disagreeYou would rather watch players develop than win on the court? Edit: Bruce is also pretty damn good at identifying and developing talent for his system
Obviously I’m rooting for us. Rick needs to learn to develop a deeper rotation. That’s what has hurt him in the tourney his entire career. So basically accurate for the first time.Today is the first day for a new reporting format from the TDPH on the coronavirus. I don’t yet know how this is going to affect the UT Dashboard or how much time they will invest to try to sort it out. The big change, quoted below, resulted in the active case count for the state dropping by more than half from yesterday to today, from 35,359 down to 16,163, a drop of 19,196. Many counties saw their active cases counts drop accordingly, by more than half. I think the transmission rate is tied to active case counts so this change in format may have the folks at UT scratching their head. TDPH reported 1,715 new cases today and from a base of presumably around 14,458 active cases yesterday so I’m guessing our Re numbers are going to be markedly different from what we have been seeing over the past 2 or 3 weeks, or at least I suspect they will be once someone can figure out the math. jmo.

edit to add - this just in from the folks operating the UT Dashboard:

Your expectations are the same as mine, this yearObviously I’m rooting for us. Rick needs to learn to develop a deeper rotation. That’s what has hurt him in the tourney his entire career. He just runs his starters into the ground.
This year, our team is deeper and and more talented than any he’s had in his time in knoxville and it isn’t close. Minimum of Elite 8 or conference championship (regular season or tourney) should be the expectation

I'd give Rick the edge in development and just being a good dude. But Bruce's system is better imo.
Now...Rick's ridiculous recruiting could turn the tables real fast. That "best UT team ever" had 0 top-100 prospects. We are about to have an entire 2-deep roster of those dudes. It's about to go down...
