So as my teenagers are finding out, I will impart my wisdom to them on just about any and every subject...😂

It’s even more fun when you throw in old fashioned words and sayings. Newfangled, bug-tussle, busier than a bee in Springtime, ain’t worth a plug nickel, etc.

I told them that when I hit 60 in 2 years, I will bust out my ultimate sayings and wisdom...(now I have to start figuring out what that is) 🤔

Yeah, these articles are from months ago...:D
I'm sure UGA will be more than fine.

Bama wins big every year with serviceable qb's. The only qb ive seen in last decade that showed me anything was dude that transferred to OK. Tua can chuck it, but is inconsistent, unless playing us.

My point is they could put me out there to flip to RB or WR screens, throw to TE, or hand the ball off. Kirbipoo will find a way, on his own, to screw this up. They'll still win 10 games.

Still older than I am.

That game still pisses me off. I record every game we play, and I delete the ones we lose. I just can't rewatch games we lost.

I hate all losses with a passion, but the worst are the the brain fade player/coach ones. Giving games away by being dumb is disgusting. When we get beat by superior rosters I have less heartburn. I like to watch the coaching match-ups to see which is better on game day. It's truly a game of chess at times. I really like CJP's upside. His expectations for his staff's performance is spot on. Am now watching how he matures on game day and roster utilization. He has won more games than he has lost by being better at it with a worse to equal roster. We will know he has arrived when the entire roster understands the expectation is to compete at a high level on every play or find a seat on the bench. Doesn't mean they will succeed on every play, does mean they will compete their best on every play.

If you can stomach it the games we lose are the best to analyze. It helps explain recruiting and replacing/retaining coaches better. From that you learn if you have the right guy at HC. We knew quickly with Dools because he flunked all of it quickly. As we laugh about on here. what P-5 school signs no O-linemen in a recruiting cycle? Botch took awhile, but there were early signs. You could tell as Phil's career began spiraling downward. Cut coming back was his saving grace for a couple of years or he probably would have been terminated sooner. Early signs are we have a legitimate elite head coach, staff, and roster under development.

I am sure this has been discussed before, but given all the recent opt-outs.....apparently 10 players opted out at Central Florida the other day....why would a person put themselves through all the hard work of fall camp and conditioning to only NOW say "Nah! I'm good not playing this year"?

I'm not questioning them actually opting out, just the timing.

I think it has a lot to do with the NCAA giving a free pass this year

I guarantee Kirby made promises to the Wake Forrest QB to lure him to UGA.

Then Kirby made promises to JT Daniels.

Newman’s promises were broken, or he saw how FOS Kirby was and said “F this, I’m out. “
That's what I am thinking. Hopefully it gets around.

Not getting the warm and fuzzies from this quote:

eh. that's not exactly new information. that's been the deal with him the past two years.

it's year 2 with the offensive staff, he's looked good in practice according to Weinke....no shock there.

so, it has and will be the issue until proven otherwise, whether or not he can do it when the lights come on.

it's like me on hte driving ranges vs. the course.
