So with the Newman news 3 of the 4 high profile QB recruits in the Kirby era at UGA have transferred. What are the chances JT Daniels and Vandagriff transfer out before their eligibility is up at UGA? I would say they are pretty high at this point.

It's Fields/Fromm/Eason Redux. If I were a QB I wouldn't trust Kirby as far as I could throw him. The first situation wasn't handled well at all and signing Daniels after Newman was never a good look and still isn't despite Newman opting out.

What's next for Georgia after Jamie Newman's opt out?

The decision to add JT Daniels to the roster back in May is certainly looking smart right now. Daniels started 12 games for USC in 2018 and 2019. He hasn't yet been fully cleared after sustaining a torn ACL and other knee damage in the season opener against Fresno State in the 2019 season opener, but that's expected to come before the start of the 2020 season.

Shades of Chuckie Keeton. Keeton was rushed back from ACL and we all saw what happened to him when he faced an SEC defense. Daniels needs to opt-out if they clear him and want to play him immediately.

With Newman out now, I could see our game being like 17-14 or 14-10 with defenses dictating play and TN making just enough plays to pull it out.
