Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

This meathead is actually celebrating the fact that we reported "just 358 covid deaths" yesterday. Six months in and 358 deaths is nothing to celebrate, this is actually an indictment of the piss poor job we have done getting this thing under control. I'm pretty sure the families of the 180,000 people who lost their lives are not celebrating - Clay Travis is scum.
Now do NY, NJ and MI governors

I'm glad these young adults are starting to wake up, hopefully it will be a trend.

University students are increasingly questioning 'full tuition for a diet college experience'
Here are my issues with college these dumbass kids don't seem to understand these days.
1. College is a privilege, it is not a guarantee
2. Dont take out student loans to make 40K a year, yes getting summers off is cool but is it really work 100K in student loan debt
3. Had you learned a trade such as plumbing you will make double your buddies starting salary with him fresh out of college with a 100K dollar piece of paper.
4. If you do go to college don't get a degree in finger painting and then act like someone else is responsible for your dumbass decisions.
5. Go F#$k yourself if you think I'm paying your student loans

There's no coming back from you labeling a group of people, if it's one thing the left does well it's labeling people.

I'll say that the majority of his listeners are ill-informed rednecks who are easily manipulated. The posters who post his stuff here certainly are.

Have you pointed out the specific errors in his numbers? Sorry if I missed that but would definitely be interested to read it

Yes yes I know he claims to have voted for Obama and then Gary Johnson. I don't think he identifies with a particular political viewpoint. He figured out years ago that his path to relevance was getting rednecks angry and have them retweet his stuff.

Isn't that a little racist?

Did you actually read that article? It's a lot of insults surrounded by many suppositions with a dollop of fear porn on the top

For example, this statement is largely true yet he uses a single family anecdote to try and prove large amounts of data wrong.
However, it’s actively harmful to diminish a virus that is on every continent but Antarctica and say there’s “nothing to fear” for anyone under 70, as Travis has. (Again: Wrong.)
Yes a few outliers will happen by most are not vulnerable to this virus. The data proves that out

Here's the question again since you forgot about it.

Apparently I need to tell you this since you have a bad memory. The him I'm referring to is Clay Travis.

I'll answer your question. I see Travis as a UT fan who espouses traditional views on his site and on Fox Sports. I don't always agree with him but he is very good about backing up his opinions with facts. He is also a refreshing contrast to what we get from ESPN and many on Fox Sports. Everyone at ESPN is far left and most at Fox are left of center. Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless are both so into social justice, I don't see what purpose it serves to put them at opposite ends of the table.

To be fair I'll give you one specific area where I don't agree with him:

With C19 as cases rise he says "look at the deaths." After the spike in cases subsides, he'll switch gears and emphasize positive cases. We all know deaths lag behind cases. That is a sleight of hand but his numbers are accurate and up to date. But I agree with his basic concept that C19 is not the apocalypse. So Travis gives us a refreshing voice in sports that was lacking and that's a good thing

I think Tyler has him a little red neck fetish . Either that or he’s learned how to spell red neck and is putting it to use right away .
