Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Watching the Tour De France...because I love watching them ride thru the French countryside....they said if one rider tests positive the entire race is cancelled and the leader is declared the winner.
Typical liberal poonish decision.... it’s outrageous

they have a few obese, so called 'health ambassadors' sitting around at the entrance at the one here -- talk about a do nothing job
As someone who works at WM, I can assure you, they understand the irony and are just as frustrated at the pointlessness of WM’s unenforceable mask mandate.

COVID-19 Provisional Counts - Weekly Updates by Select Demographic and Geographic Characteristics

People are going to want to check this link out. Only 6% of deaths were the result of Covid-19 and only Covid-19. The rest had underlying health conditions.

This is not new information. I find it odd that people don't realize how common it is for people over 50 to have unknown medical conditions. You find out when you get Covid.
People with underlying conditions are less likely to survive. What qualifies as an underlying condition? Obesity, diabetes, being over 65, asthma, and many other things that are widespread in the American population.

Of course there is a lot of overlap here

More than 100 million Americans have high blood pressure, AHA says.

CDC Press Releases.
Obesity is a Common, Serious, and Costly Disease

CNN and Twitter are both playing games with words here. I can play the same game. Here from CNN:

At least 182,885 people have died from coronavirus in the United States, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University.

No, actually those folks died "with" the coronavirus. The virus was one of many factors in most of those cases.

It's high time we get conservative alternatives to Twitter, Facebook and Google. All these groups are actively working against Trump

If your loved one is morbidly obese, has stage four cancer, and gets hit by a train and after the train hits them they experience zero brain or heart function. What would you say killed them?

Depends on how quickly they die. Many elderly people die after a fall. The cause of death isn't the fall itself

Sounds like their lifestyle.
You are being coy. You are smarter then this. The facts are simple. This thing is essentially not dangerous for the vast vast majority of non elderly or those without major medical issues. There is no need to try to claim a vast conspiracy. The CDC’s own data backs this up and admits as much.

I’m actually not claiming a conspiracy, I’ve stated from the beginning and been in many debates about the accuracy of the death rate from Covid . Same way on the millions of tests that are positive with a standardized methodology across the board . Logic dictates that they would be wrong and it’s coming to light that they were and are . I don’t believe any numbers just like I don’t believe any polls , waaaaayyyu too much wiggle room to call them accurate .

I get what you are saying, but it's actually more complicated than that. Say a 53 year old man with a BMI of 40, type 2 diabetes, and COPD (all the result of an unhealthy lifestyle) contracts CV19 and dies. Chances are slim that a healthy 53 year old with none of those conditions will succomb to the illness. So, technically, it was really the multiple medical issues the first man had that cost him his life.

All that being said, I do agree that the CDC story is being taken way out of context.
