Love watching the coordinator media sessions. Big Jim gives me so much confidence in the offense. JG will get just shot, but I think Chaney has high expectations this year. He knows he has multiple QBs who understand the system now. He knows he has some crazy talent and speed at WR. Just a matter of time before Chaney is putting up 40+ ppg like he did with Bray and co.

Jordan is the man, and always will be... he could compete right now. Hell I seriously would take Larry Bird in clutch situations over Bron right now. Lebron is physically gifted, but lacks in the mental game where even the black mamba was better.

Guys like Allen Iverson, Isiah Thomas, John Stockton, would all give Lebron a headache... and he would not dunk on guys like Robert Parish and Bill Laimbeer... they would make him flop or cry.

While this is true the Jordan - LeBron debate is stale, unoriginal, annoying and did I mention stale? As far as debate, I don't think it is one. I think it's people proclaiming their personal opinions as fact and the next person that changes their opinion on who is the best will be the first to do so.

No. I wasn't alive. There was a year when the US didn't have the most basketball talent? I would think the US could send a team of their 5th best players at every position and still be as good as every team in the Olympics.

I think that our FPI is similar to SC because our QB play has ranged from awful to mediocre for three years. The perception is that JG will start again and that perception remains that he's not going to become great overnight. JMO

I feel ya but I don't get what the point of the off topic thread is when most of it finds its way in this thread that should be about recruiting. But that's just me

The dude could be sooo good. From a analytical perspective his case is a fascinating one. I don't think I have ever seen a case like his before. Guys either can play or not usually based on their physical gifts, he can play, he really could be a very good QB if not for his mental issues.

Aaron Medley had the same problem. I know him personally. He made everything in practice and had a monster leg. Early in his career he wasn't given opportunities in low-stress situations, and that hurt his confidence because he felt the coaching staff didn't trust him. It messed with his mentality. Then in high-stress situations, on top of his self-doubt, magnitude of situation, and comments like "You better not f*ckin miss," he wasn't in a good place to kick. Then he would receive thousands of death threats and hate mail from fans (which I'm sure JG has also experienced).
