I didn't actually say Kentucky sucked or did I? I think what I said was they might be decent but they would still likely lose to the teams in the top half of the conference as per usual. That said, I did imply Auburn sucks because they don't have an offensive line at all this year. So really - these are two teams that we're going to destroy. In the matchup between the two, I think I'll take Auburn's young but talented defense to shut down the Kentucky offense and I'll take Auburn's offense to struggle even against a Kentucky defense. I think in the end talent beats experience but it won't be easy for Auburn and if it is then we'll know for certain that Kentucky does in fact suck. jmo.

Auburn
Kentucky
Lol fair enough, but I still read it as KY sucks.

They return a ton of players. Basically their whole defense and offensive line. Got some good RBs. KY also has a great coaching staff.

People also love terry wilson which I don’t get and I can’t name a single WR they have.

Thought their big-time DE left for the draft along with their RB? They won't be a push-over, but we can take them...

Our D is going to roast Auburn. Coach has their number already and now with an empty stadium he’ll be firing audibles from the sideline right up until the ball will be snapped.

Going to be fun to watch.
Hopefully we have better overall defense than last time. Put up 450 yards on us.

We got turnovers though. We need one or the other. But I'd rather just straight up stop an offense than rely on turnovers.

What I’m saying is,the similarities you are seeing now with JG that you also seen in Dobbs...even with him missing open receivers and not having accuracy.I’d still take Dobbs over JG anyday of the week just because of his leadership and will to win alone.
We’re 15-0 last year with Dobbs at QB. Repeat champs if we had him this year. #ChangeMyMind

I’m gonna disagree on Hurd. You don’t put yourself in position to become UT’s all-time leading rusher in 3 years without having good vision. Especially behind those bad OLines.

Dobbs had good vision as a runner, but awful as a passer. He didn’t see open receivers more often than any QB I reminder at UT.
He just had a bunch of attempts. He never broke 5 YPC even one season. He was never top 15 in the SEC in average. He was a volume runner.

Btw, not disputing why he wasn't better. The only thing I remember is he was too big and too slow for such poor OLs. He would hit the hole too late. He was a big runner in the wrong era. Those guys are on the way out.

That was not a 15-0 team in any way. Maaaybe with Patrick Mahomes, maybe. Defense was not championship level (38 points to Ga St), nor was the 13th best rushing offense in the league. We had more serious weaknesses (rushing offense tops). Maybe by next year.

Bro!...quit with Dobbs we beat Bama...don’t lose to GA state and could have easily beat Georgia with how flat footed they started and Florida would have been East work.

Yet we didn't in 2015 with a better defense. Still lost 4 games each of his best 2 years. Dobbs was good, really good at times, he wasn't Heisman level. That's almost a necessity to go undefeated, unless you are Alabama level talented.

Can't argue a team that lost to ga st would have gone 15-0 with a better qb.
