I do my part. I wear a mask, keep my distance, I don’t go to church nor do I participate in protests, riots, and political rallies (2 of those four were deemed “safe” by the CDC, btw).

Despite that, I still caught it. It kicked my ass for about 24 hours then it was gone. I’m 52, fatter than I should be and a type II diabetic. I’m also susceptible to respiratory ailments after a bout of bacterial pneumonia nearly killed me in 1996.

So yeah, it is about me, because if I can survive this, damn near anyone can and the numbers bear that out.
