Looking at our top targets for the 2022 class and next years could be as good as this years (this far).

Walter Nolen ranked 1
Enai White ranked 25
Any of the QB’s we are recruiting
Addison Nichols ranked 57
Keaton Wade ranked 158
Jordan James ranked 162
Fisher Anderson ranked 220
Barroom Brown ranked 244
Isaiah Horton ranked 277
Kody Jones ranked 280
Dallan Haden ranked 299
Etc.

Man, I’m excited

Are you sure gym isn't open? Mine has been for months, no need for a mask, they just spray your hands with sanitizer and check your temp.

Wish NC would get a clue and do the same. They won't even allow people to play pool or darts in public now.

And, despite his potential for douchecanery and or flimflamfloozelness, JG will start. All day.

I luuuv that during all the goings ons, his Dad did mature thing. And took to Social Media, to let us all know his feelings. Hope that JG has matured on his own. This really is his team.
Liked for flamfoozleness

I have wondered for a long time whatever happened to Frank and what's he doing now? Also, was there something that was said or happened or did the station just decide to get rid of Mark and Kevin due to poor early morning ratings?

He will start but he will have a very short leash. He fooled the coaches last year and they were very caught off guard by his play. No one took the job though and Maurer needed to redshirt. It will be very different this year if he struggles to start and they will turn to Bailey and Maurer quicker if so.
...oh so different.

i bet two qb's play! 🤨🤓

Except only I’m not trying to act like I’m smart when I’m not. I am who I am and always will be. Never will I ever provide my opinion on something I know nothing about. To go a step further, speculating about some excitement about an upcoming recruiting class is just warranted when you couple the trajectory of the program & the potential of that class. It’s just not in good taste to take a jab at someone when you’re reading too far into it with intellect. Logical excitement about your favorite team gets too many holes poked in it and too much mud slung around anymore. We’ve all gotta get back to just enjoying things for what they are instead of just having an opinion on literally everything. And no I’m not trying to rail on you, Newt, because I actually enjoy your perspective on many things. I’m just talking in general. There’s been way too much infighting lately here.
That's the roundabout way of saying, take a leap.

Fun fact: It's been the 4th Saturday as many times as the 3rd Saturday the last 10 years.

2010: 4th
2011: 4th
2012: 3rd
2013: 4th
2014: 4th
2015: 4th
2016: 3rd
2017: 3rd
2018: 3rd
2019: 3rd
I think it’s probably been more often on the 4th Saturday since they started divisional play in 92.

I'm missing the good news for us in there.
I'm not sure it is the news some are making it to be, at least for Mays. The rule is having one year of residency at the new school, nothing really to do with years of eligibility. But who knows?

If a bunch of schools go online, that should help. The whole point of year-in-residency is to limit academic struggles for a transferring student. Being online should reduce that concern, imo.

I'm not sure if he'll start this year but the second part of your statement is spot on. Everyone complaining about the coaches sticking with JG need to remember this. Maurer was the 2nd best option last year and he threw 2 TDs to 5 interceptions with a 47% completion ratio. And he probably still would have kept the job if he hadn't gotten injured.

If there's a better option than JG he'll play. It's as simple as that.

I don't really care who starts as long as they're productive. In the last 3 years UT has finished 14th, 14th, and 12th in the SEC in total offense and terrible QB play has been a big reason. That's got to get better to start making some noise in the SEC.

He's been a part no doubt, as have all the QBs. We haven't seen a real steady presence since Dobbs left. But our rushing averages those same 3 years were 14th, 14th, and 13th...

Our (overall) passer ratings those 3 years were 12th, 9th, and 6th... I find this to be more comprehensive than just YPA, but since you are talking yards, we are 12th, 6th, 4th here.

Plenty of blame to go around, but our complete inability to run the ball, while staying run-heavy, has hurt the most. The passing game has had to bail us out on 3rd downs way too often (looking at you 2018/Helton especially).
