7-3/8-2...ain't scared. JG gonna finally do something good, by simply not being awful.

the OL and the run game will drive the bus this year.

the defense will be stout...DL and back end are in good shape, and LB outside of HT has a ton of potential. only potential pitfall i see is depth on the DL....it's not quite where we'd like it yet....

kicking game should be in good hands.. and i think we injected some speed in the return game with some of the young guys...

last is WR....so much potential, just not proven. they have, as a group, a realtively big hill to climb.....but i think we have the right coaches and OC in place to get it out of them.

the biggest weakness on this team, imo, is TE with Pope going down.....i think we're definitley good enough to beat 7 of the teams on our schedule. compete adequately with 2 and be 50/50 with the last one.

turnovers for/against will be big....and can we possess the ball....

i like the schedule. can't wait.
Lot of good stuff ceptin the DL depth point. Dude? We’re basically 4 deep this season. Next season requires some restocking but we’re currently not glimpsing any pain.

Eric Gray weighs in on Day 1 of fall camp
The sophomore running back, from in front of his locker after Monday's practice, gave his impression of the first day of camp after and his feedback on the face shields that some Vols are wearing on their helmets.

“Practice went well today,” Gray said on Instagram. “The helmets, uh, it was kind of hot out there in them helmets. But they were breathable. It went well.

“The offense really won today," Gray continued. "The defensive players are going to say they won, but the offense really won today, though. Don’t let nobody tell you any different. But yeah, today was good. I’ll see y’all tomorrow. Day 2.”

Sophomore linebacker Quavaris Crouch didn’t talk face shields or masks, but he did respond to Gray on Instagram with his own practice feedback.

“To be honest, I’m just confused why Eric Gray thinks the offense won today when they certainly didn’t,” Crouch said. “That’s just one thing I don’t like.”

Kevin suing Georgia isn’t the big reason Cade left. I’m pretty sure AV has mentioned it, but I won’t say anything in case he hasn’t. It’s probably going to come out now that he has been denied. I have a feeling they are about to make Kirby, Georgia, and the NCAA look very bad.

Please, please, please, please let this happen...

Kennedy Chandlers dad was on Memphis radio:

Coach Lanier started the recruitment KC’s freshman season. Coach Barnes did a great job throughout. Coach English picked it up hard and heavy. Penny wanted him but was late.

What solidified his decision was Kevin Durant’s dad calling the family and selling Barnes as a person and how he takes care of players after basketball.

I actually did not know former players could contact recruits. Thanks for the recap.
