Bill C. said the average team has gone down 1.6 wins from before. Since the SEC has 10 games, not 11, ours could be even higher. I believe our preseason FPI predicted 7.6 wins iirc. Given our insane schedule now, 6-4 is quite a good season. 5-5 should not be seen in a negative light. 4-6 would be a bit of a letdown, but should not be a reason for major concern.

This season will just be too weird to even judge all that accurately anyway.

The positivity rate for all testing in the state has been trending down over the past several days.

Yesterday, on the first day of fall camp, we finally broke through the floor for the transmission rate in our great state, no thanks to one certain community, one which had been green for the better part of two weeks. I was waiting to post hoping it would get back to green and I wouldn’t have to suffer the embarrassment of such abject failure on the part of my beloved community but you have to understand, we have a lot of Alabama and Georgia people coming and going in our community every day. I promise, honest, it’s not my fault. jmo.

What books? I have only seen 2, both online. BetOnline has us at 5.5 and Bovada at 5 as of right now.

The SC and UK games are very important to getting off to a decent start. If we stub our toe on one of those games early, with UGA and Bama also in the first half, season could spiral downward and get away from us.
