Yeah, no shortage of jobs that’s for sure.
not right now there's not....it's been heating up for a couple of months now, and most carriers have gone in full hire mode, if they haven't already been....and a lot of those distributors and retailers are hiring as well.....

Listening to the Pruitt post practice PC, just wanting to soak up ever nugg possible. Want to give a big F U to all the reporters asking fkn COVID questions and ubben closing it out with “what percentage of your classes are online?”

🙄
agree, though i do understand why the covid questions are asked. it's inevitable, so i put that in the 'it is what it is' category.
ubben is a turd.

Your post needed a little math help... never, and I mean never ever concede any game before the season even starts.

That attitude is so last decade. This is the Decade of The Vols! We’re undefeated. I don’t see a single viable reason to think otherwise.

Don’t even try to change my mind.
Doc you woke up on fire this morning!

I’m honestly pretty pumped to see Warren, Fant, Allen and Lowe battle for the TE1 spot this year. Lowe (rs Fr, 4 star player) and Allen are both 6’4 245. Warren is a rs So and slowly put on weight enough for his 6’6 frame, he’s up to 250 range now. And Fant has played about every position on offense but he Sean Brown provide depth there too. We’ve got athletes there, just unproven at this point.

Interesting...

i like it. the MO here has to be that w/out the cupcake non conf, there's no way we'd get to bowl eligiblity...afterall, we couldn't beat GSU and BYU last year, and now we're supposed to beat Auburn, aTm AND 4 of our normal conf games?

excellent. bring me the hate.

Mays has lawyered up;

“The Knoxville lawyer representing Tennessee football offensive lineman Cade Mays said he's optimistic that Mays will win his appeal for an NCAA transfer waiver.

Getting Mays, who transferred to Tennessee from Georgia in January, cleared to play this year would boost the Vols' offensive line, which is projected to be a team strength.

The NCAA denied Mays' initial bid for a transfer waiver, and Tennessee is appealing the decision.

“We’re surprised and disappointed it was denied," Gregory P. Isaacs, Mays' lawyer, told Knox News. "The mandate of the NCAA is to ensure the well-being and the future success of student-athletes. Cade Mays clearly meets these criteria.”

Isaacs did not represent Mays during his initial waiver bid. He is representing him during his appeal.

“Because of a variety of factors, it was a toxic environment that did not support Cade Mays’ well-being as a student-athlete," Isaacs said of Mays' experience at Georgia and his bid for a waiver.

NCAA transfer rules require an undergraduate transfer in football to sit out a season unless that player receives a waiver. As an intraconference transfer, Mays also requires a waiver from the SEC.

...hate we have to go back to Auburn after we just went down there
It definitely wouldn’t have been my preference but I think us having just gone down there and beating them in front of a full house when hardly anyone outside of Knoxville gave us a chance...idk that should instill some confidence imo

I'll admit South Carolina is a tough environment at night (which we seem to always play them lately when we are at their place) but even if the game is at night again this year, the decreased fan attendance neutralizes that. It should be an easy W.

it kinda is, but it kinda isn't. capacity is shrinking....we're busy as hell....and not just because of labor/equipment issues....we are actually at levels right now that we saw in 2018 and parts of 2019...but with companies like Amazon, Home Depot, Lowes etc.....they are in full swing, and their vendors can't get stuff out fast enough, same for Target,, wal mart and other big box retailers/distributors.....S**t thru a goose would be an adequate description of how fast product is moving....hard to keep up in some segments.....

biggest problem we have right now is we can't hire dock/drivers fast enough.................or that can pass a hair follicle test...lol.

Jake, who do you work for?

Edit: Nevermind, I saw it.

My ears are bleeding from that chicken sound they blast every 10 seconds

Home games will be a completely different environment this year with limited capacity. Seems like some reports say that only boosters and families will be allowed to attend to start. Plus if they enforce facemasks then I don't see how crowd noise will be much of a factor.
