don't forget that Gibbs has been here since last season but couldn't become eligible. So he's been practicing with the team since he got to Knoxville. He's a 5* athlete at the end of the day and I expect him to perform better than most think...

I was hopeful about his practice experience too, but mods verified he was a scout player all last year, so my understanding is he didn't practice with JG/BM etc last year. Probably with Hill.

I mean, it sucks about Cade. But even if he doesn’t get approved - Carvin and Calbert were both stout last year. And even if only 250lbs, Jahmir Johnson was one of our meanest lineman.

Three times in one calendar year, initial waivers were denied. Two were overturned with the third as likely. Something has to give.
