Mentally I just dont think he has it.I am FAR from a JG fan. However, I think that it is likely he will start Week 1. I think he'll finish that game on the sideline though. Once he gets several series under his belt, the coaching staff will see that it's the same old JG, and they'll move on to better options.
BVS . The usualWhy are some of you wishy washy about SC!? We are better at every position group and should kick the "ish outa them cocks. RB's will run all day. Then that will give our newer WR's room to make some catches because the D will be stacking the box in the second half... We better come out with our F'n hair on fire and roll them yard byrds. Their QB is pretty good but our D is better, so hopefully Pruitt has a pressure plan in place to make the kid uneasy the entire game.
At this point if JJ is still going through the motions at LB, kick his ass to the curb, have him hand out Gatorade on the sidelines, and let Banks (who you KNOW is hungry as hell chomping at the bit) come in and wreak havoc with Toot and Crouch.
We smoked them last year, but we did it with explosive plays. Punt return, punt block, deep ball to Calloway and JJ. Can’t rely on all of those things this year, especially not knowing what we have at WR.
But.. our defense shut them down in the second half and I expect that to be even more so this year
I’m not saying it’s bad. I’m saying it’s unknown. Outside of Palmer we know nothing. And we also still have JgI really think our WR situation isn't quite as bad as folks think... yes, we are without the DAWG, but you got some guys wanting to make a name for themselves and step up... Imagine how long Gibbs has been waiting on this single game!?
This will be final update on Drew for awhile. I don’t want to sour things up anymore especially as we approach the happy time of football camp. Which I hope provides some levity and escape.
But my brother received word from the oncologist, radiologist, and neurologist that the outlook is not real good. A very difficult fight ahead. The tumors are sort of spiderwebbed around his spine and into the bone and base of his brain. Biopsy and bone removal Monday, likely two week stay as they blast him with chemo to make it workable.
Go God. Go Vols. And LOL at Kentucky...
we should be able to run the ball more effectively this year. do that, and we should see more consistency from the offense...We smoked them last year, but we did it with explosive plays. Punt return, punt block, deep ball to Calloway and JJ. Can’t rely on all of those things this year, especially not knowing what we have at WR.
