This will be final update on Drew for awhile. I don’t want to sour things up anymore especially as we approach the happy time of football camp. Which I hope provides some levity and escape.

But my brother received word from the oncologist, radiologist, and neurologist that the outlook is not real good. A very difficult fight ahead. The tumors are sort of spiderwebbed around his spine and into the bone and base of his brain. Biopsy and bone removal Monday, likely two week stay as they blast him with chemo to make it workable.

Go God. Go Vols. And LOL at Kentucky...

My guess - Back to back top-15 scoring defenses. Some also think they have really good OL/DL this year. I think Stoops is garnering quite a bit of respect.

My guess - Back to back top-15 scoring defenses. Some also think they have really good OL/DL this year. I think Stoops is garnering quite a bit of respect.

Stoops deserves respect, for sure, and they should be good on both lines, they have a good stable of RBs, and supposedly solid in the LB corp. But UK has not really been that good at WR under Stoops, and not really sure their secondary is more than average JG shredded their secondary in one half last season.

Having said that, UT also should be very good on both lines, also has a good stable of RBs, and should also be pretty darn good at LB. At WR, While we should be very good at WR this season, admittedly it is a bit of a question mark with the loss of Calloway and JJ, but we definitely have some talent at that position. And I know UT is better in the secondary.

So the x factor for both is at the QB position.

Everybody crowned Kentucky as a legitimate SEC team the moment they beat Florida a couple years ago. Never mind that they haven’t beaten a more talented team since then.

They for sure have a great OL. 3 of the top 30 national and second best unit in the SEC in some preseason predictions. And their QB returns so they can include the forward pass into their offense.

Except their QB doesn’t succeed very well at the forward pass.

I know this may be of little or no help, but please talk to his parents about researching CBD, and what may best for him.
My neighbor, suffered from a very similar type of cancer that attacked his spinal chord and base of his brain causing severe nerve problems.
We gave him severa different types of cbd to try, and while he found smoking hemp flower gave him the most relief, there was a tincture drop that helped as well, RixMix.
Cbd is perfectly safe for kids in proper doses as well.
