2020 Presidential Race

That is some Fox News wishful thinking, and very predictable.
I guess they are targeting all of the Bernie Boys who are regular Fox viewers.
Obviously that will be one of the right wing talking points.
They will call Biden/Harris socialist and Marxist in one story and then in the very next story talk about how the far left will not turn out because the ticket is to centrist.

This was my question:

So, you basically don't think blacks can think for themselves and choose a viable candidate that represents the values they individually espouse? Or, they may not choose who you want them to choose because they can't critically think? Yep, sounds like Biden.

You didn't' answer the first attempt. So, if you "do believe that blacks can think for themselves and so this ridiculous stunt will fall flat", then the issue is... WHAT again? Seems like you're having early menopause for no reason. Might want to get that checked.
It seems like the Trump campaign knows that they can't lure black voters to their candidate, and so the best they could do was .... Kanye West? Are you kidding me?

It seems like the Trump campaign is desperate. They wouldn't be doing this, if they weren't. It's an absurd stunt. Ronald Reagan working to put Richard Pryor on battleground state ballots in 1980 would have been something close to this in terms of abject absurdity.

Right. There is nothing pathetic at all about the party which worked to get Kanye West on the ballot in some select states... because they know that their own candidate has no appeal to black voters, so they feel the need to make a mockery of the democratic process by advancing the candidacy of a rapper. Show me a campaign stunt the Democratic Party is responsible for, that has been anywhere near as pathetic and desperate as that. That is not the ploy of a campaign that thinks they are going to win.
This has NOTHING to do with Trump. Stop deflecting and step up to the plate and realize your party deserted you.

LOL. The trashing of Harris on this forum and elsewhere from the Right makes it clear Biden made the right choice.
The fact is, Harris takes away the "Biden is soft on crime" attack. By all accounts, Harris was a ball-breaker as a prosecutor. She showed no leniency at all... maybe even to a fault.

You continue to argue a position of zero matter to me. If you believe Black people possess the wherwithal to make decisions in accordance with the best outcomes for them as individuals, why do you care who runs as a 3rd party?

I like how you show the butt-hurt you get from false Trump accusations.

I don't. My point is, that Trump does. That is because Trump knows he can't lure black voters away from Biden on his own appeal as a candidate. That is true even though Trump claims to have been better for blacks than Abraham Lincoln.

If things go as I think they will Harris was run uncontested in the Democratic primaries. The Republican primaries will be an absolute bloodbath. It will make the red wedding look tame.

I’m very confused by your reply. 1) the primaries are over and 2) who is your 2020 choice?

I like how you show the butt-hurt you get from false Trump accusations.
Uhh, that is not a false accusation. Google "Attorney Lane Ruhland, Trump Campaign".

She has had a complaint filed against her for conflict of interest. It is an ethics violation for an attorney to simultaneously be representing two campaigns vying for election to the same office.

I will give Kamala Harris this, she does not seem to act like she is above others. She in fact may, but she does not act like it to me.
When I have watched her meeting people she seems to make them feel special, directs her attention to them, has an energetic energy, and smiles a lot. Seems lot more likable and warm than any of the other's considered.
I think she will be an asset for Biden.

Well, Lincoln wanted to deport 'freed' slaves. So, on balance, I'd say Trump wins. Did you compare the jobs report for Blacks between Lincoln and Trump?

How old are you?

Idk if he made the right choice or not. No fan of hers, but November will tell. We’re completely devoid of solid tickets as far as I’m concerned.

Go tell that to the hundreds of innocent ppl she knowingly had wrongly convicted as a prosecutor

From your link:
The fact is, Lincoln said almost nothing about race. He was not that interested in race…Race was not a major intellectual construct for Lincoln…And the 1858 speech was purely defensive. That doesn’t excuse it, but he was being attacked in those debates as believing in negro equality.

I think the fact that he was defending himself from attacks by his opponent in the US Senate race that he was to "liberal" in his views regarding negro equality says a lot. That one quote was bad, but in the context of the debate, he was trying to convince the idiots that he wasn't to liberal. He failed and lost to the bigger racist.

Everyone must be viewed within the context of their time. Lincoln was the more liberal candidate in the race that he lost and he was wise enough to allow his views to evolve over the next few years.
