Just to be clear..you are aware a flu shot is actually the flu being injected into you to fight against the flu👀 I don’t trust doctors or anyone on this matter because there’s so much unknown still but if a doctor suggested That injecting a doctored Lab 🧫 version of covid to fight against it hoping the body becomes immune to it...I’m telling him to take a hike up Mt.Everest
Well there are active and inactive versions.... so.... yes and no

Still curious, for Spring ball, couldn't an EE play right away?

Could be an intriguing pitch from B1G and PAC schools, or if the SEC cancels partway and decides to pick back up in the spring.

This is going to be a very interesting year...

Maybe you should research it. The point is to boost your immune system by putting the virus in you. By boosting your immune system, it can actually help you fight off other things. Novel idea.

Looks like there was a study done in Brazil because their winter is during our summer. Groups that took the flu shot (in all ages) had lower mortality rates from Covid-19.

It’s why the flu numbers in our country are skewed. There are people who don’t get vaccinated (their prerogative), but states aren’t required to report whether a person who does from the flu was vaccinated or not. 80% of pediatric flu deaths were unvaccinated kids.

So much cognitive dissonance among the CFB fans on reddit right now. On the one hand they are forced to be coronabros lest they get mass downvoted. But many are still tiptoeing around the discussion, trying to raise valid points about the wisdom of all this without people thinking they are evil mask-deniers.
What is the opposite of a coronabro?

SIAP....but I love that first line! Essentially calling their bluff....

B1G and PAC will talk about health concerns, all certainly valid, but jmo...

Focus the argument on how our policies and protocols ensure "safer here" is the best option. If they can make a good argument (which I believe is there) that being in dorms as a cohort, with coach and professional medical oversight, and taking virtual classes is safer than at home, then the rest is totally moot.

I wouldn't even waste time arguing all the hundreds of unknowns surrounding Covid, as it is the same everywhere. Just argue they can provide better supervision, top notch testing and healthcare, etc on campus vs unregulated home town settings.
