2020 Presidential Race

Oh, well she is going to help him shore up a majority of the black vote, which will be huge.

might improve turnout among AA which will help the final tally but I doubt she's going to switch AAs leaning Trump to Biden. Will help mitigate the apathetic.

Lol she’s in no way African American...I’d be willing to bet that 50% of people don’t realize that..
Who looks at her and doesn't know she is black. 99.9% of people who have lived anywhere black people are immediately knows she is black.

But that is the problem so much. People in the little hick towns that are 90% plus white don't know anything about black people. Plenty of them on here. They see tv and the internet and that is all they know.

I was only being facetious. I believe Biden won more of the black vote than did Kamala. I’m not sure exactly what she brings to the table. Does she bring a net gain in swing state votes? She might peek some off on the fence. I’d like to know the inside rationale of the choice.

Keeping the base happy so they don’t stay home.

No one hates Biden, they disagree with him. People hated Hillary. That the difference. And Biden has a larger campaign Infrastructure infrastructure in Arizona than Trump has. The GOP in Arizona is in shambles.

If I recall correctly, in 2015/6 you were in the Jeb! camp. Who you lining up behind in 2020?

Honestly, I think they picked her because Joe can't get out and talk about the policy and can't take questions. She'll effectively be the face of the campaign and she loves being the center of attention.

She's essentially the spokesperson

Found this interesting (from today's RCP). Pretty dead on to 2016 except that Trump isn't as unfavorable compared to the D opponent as he was in 2016

Because of culture? Or how she talks? Or was Biden right all along?

I may be crazy, but I really think Trump is possibly some good news on a vaccine and then the following uptick in the stock market away from winning again.

No, not all. Pete could have helped him especially since IN is a must win state.

Just browsing back through here when I came across this nugget of electoral wisdom; Hog, do you really see Indiana as consequential on Nov 3 in any way?

Perhaps you were being poorly sarcastic, that's all i can figure...
