We knew Big 10 and PAC 12 are the softest confences and they were going to give up. No reason to Panick. We need the SEC to continue steadfast and act on logic and not emotion. These teams have been around each other all summer and there has been no issues. You get two teams together, where neither have had issues, and things are going to be fine.

If they don’t play in the spring.... do they give seniors an extra year? If so, does that mean they will get more scholarships so they can add recruits?

This will hurt the Big 10 for years to come. Especially if we stay the course and play this fall.

A lot of people will lose their jobs over this
It’s what I said yesterday. Every program in Any conference that plays will have a clear Advantage edge. It will literally shift the whole landscape

I talked to P5 staff member last night. This BIG 10 decision was expected. SEC and ACC are both very committed to playing. Wild card is Big 12. If Big 12 will play, then it will only strengthen SEC and ACC’s commitment to play.
BTW, players want to play - coaches want to play.
Just PAC 10 players apparently do t wanna play 😂

Just cause I'm curious...Let’s say hypothetically that we get most of OSU starters (Obviously not possible) but would we have any starters besides the OL, and Toot if they were to transfer in.

Sort of random, but a 247 poster made a good point. How many student-athletes may lag in classes/become academically ineligible if at home doing virtual classes on their own? Far less meaningful in-person tutoring, structure, and coaches getting in them about hitting the books every day in person.

Maybe not, but it seems like a reasonable concern.

Feels like a moot point. Way too late for all but grad transfers. And likely only room for a couple, at best. But just to play along - I would pass on RBs and CBs, OL ofc. I like ours just fine. But I would be open to elite QB, TE, NT, pass rushers, safeties.

But back to reality...the best grad TE or pass rusher available, please come on down!!

Speaking of which, where are we on scholarship numbers??
