It’s fine that you can say that, anecdotally. It’s not science but your experience is legitimate.

It is a simple fact that you cannot expect college players to go to class and cohabitate with the rest of the student population and for them not to get this virus.

And while you may say even if they do get it it’s not serious, fine, but how many deaths would be too many? Because the stats say there would be *some* if we play and bring students back to campus.

We can lament for a “return to normalcy” all week want but it’s not going to happen this fall.
How many students die in driving accidents? Anybody in favor of shutting down transportation? This is all stupid overreaction.

Honest question: why are people still blaming the virus being around/the cancellation of sports on people who didn't wear a mask? Did they think that a bunch of people wearing cloth masks, half of which are worn incorrectly, would eradicate COVID-19? Just starve it out of existence?

Interesting how Japan, a country with massive mask adoption decades before COVID, is having a massive spike in cases right now.

Pac 12 players killed the college football season and with it will kill the NCAA. Sucks for us die hards, but with the hypocrisy of favoritism with the NCAA and conference commissioners, this is good for us long term.

Can’t wait for the 30 for 30 that ties all of this back to Ed O’bannon. How a video game brought about the end of college sports.

He’s part of the problem and will concede. If he jumps away from the NCAA and starts a new association, I might change my mind. His handling of the new season illustrates why he won’t. Protecting his highest ranked teams by preseason ranks to solidify playoff appearances indicates his lack of balls.
I think the SEC will try to hold out but the pressure will be too much and they'll cave and start planning for the Spring.
