Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

You should have that choice. Sorry freedom scares you. It does that to dim people.

Last question, maybe. Has the efficacy of HCL in relation to covid been determined?

So you write your own prescriptions an treatment plans as an exercise of your 'freedom of choice' instead of seeking treatment from a qualified medical professional?

Horrible comparison. Hydroxy is already available over the counter in many countries. If you’ve ever gone to Africa you’ve taken it. I have a close friend who’s brother is the US ambassador to Kenya. He had to take it all the time. 200 mg twice a week. It is an extremely safe drug. Now, if you give it at 800 mg a day like some of these studies were then you could cause problems. The normal weekly dose for malaria prophylaxis is 400 mg per week (two 200 mg doses). That versus 5,600 mg per week to patients who are already compromised. There is a study out now about dosage and everything seems to show that higher dosage doesn’t make it work better, but only places patient at higher risk. Could even harm them.

You seemed to have missed the point.

Hint, it wasn't about the drugs used in the examples.

Saw this posted by someone else, but agree
Dr. Fauci: Not sure about masks at this time, okay yeah wear a mask.
People: Fraud! Crook Liar!
Dr. Immanuel: Sex demons cause cancer, alien DNA causes homosexuality, Jesus will destroy Facebook!
People: Oh so y’all don’t wanna have a real discussion about opposing viewpoints huh? Who was that other doctor standing next to her, maybe he’s cool. Hey listen science is a very fluid concept, let’s discuss every angle of this. My cousin took it and he seems to be doing okay.

The study that sparked the latest controversy was anything but randomized. Not only was it not randomized, outside experts noted, but patients who received hydroxychloroquine were also more likely to get steroids, which appear to help very sick patients with Covid-19. That is likely to have influenced the central finding of the Henry Ford study: that death rates were 50% lower among patients in hospitals treated with hydroxychloroquine.
A flawed Covid study gets Trump's attention — and FDA may pay the price
First of all I'm not touting anything, the poster asked for a link where they used zpack mixed with the other drug. You're so quick to try to prove someone wrong, you like to kill any glimmer of hope because you're a miserable sack of sh!t. You're going to come back with science blah blah blah but that's not it at all, you're literally sitting in your basement watching the death count like your favorite reality show.

You need to take a break, you seem to be getting angry.

Here you can read this while you cool down.

Among patients hospitalized with mild-to-moderate Covid-19, the use of hydroxychloroquine, alone or with azithromycin, did not improve clinical status at 15 days as compared with standard care. (Funded by the Coalition Covid-19 Brazil and EMS Pharma; ClinicalTrials.gov

Treatment with Hydroxychloroquine Cut Death Rate Significantly in COVID-19 Patients, Henry Ford Health System Study Shows

So you want to shift the argument that you made previously that you should have 100% say in your treatment, regardless of the medical evidence for or against your self-chosen path?
Doctors should be able to force their patients to take medicines they or their guardian doesnt want?

You shouldnt ask questions about your medication?

You should always take your doctors word as 100% and not get second opinions, or do your own research?

It is 100% YOUR treatment. Doctor can refuse to give you what you request. But it's on you ultimately.

A doctor is not going to force you to take any treatment as long as you still have control of your own medical decisions.

A doctor is also not going to prescribe a treatment that they do not believe is medically sound, based solely on your personal desire to be given that treatment; it would be wholly unethical and illegal to do so.

You are touting a "study", that was not actually a study. At least not in the scientific sense.

Why are you so quick to jump to supporting anything that you believe justifies your unfounded belief in the use of a drug, even that which doesn't adhere to the same rigorous scientific testing that you would expect of any other drug that was being used to treat a medical condition?
No studies are trustworthy.... they have an opinion by the person doing the study and the they work it to where it reaches the already predetermined conclusion.
