I suspect Trump is pointing out how stupid the mask mandate is yet also using liberal logic against them.

"Masks are ineffective.

Masks stop the spread of the Rona?

Be patriotic! Wear a mask and go vote in person! Who needs mail-in voting when we have masks to make voting safe?!"

Get it? It's politics. You clutch your pearls when Bad Orange Man plays politics and add bonus points when you think the Democrats play politics well impeachment hearings.

I suspect Trump is just an idiot that can’t get out of his own way. If it wasn’t for a loyal base that literally doesn’t care what he says or does no matter how ignorant and hypocritical and SJW-political correctness run amok under Obama, I’m not sure the orange man makes it out of the primary in the last election.

But here we are, the circus on full display.

Hydroxychloroquine lowers COVID-19 death rate, Henry Ford Health study finds
A Henry Ford Health System study shows the controversial anti-malaria drug hydroxychloroquine helps lower the death rate of COVID-19 patients, the Detroit-based health system said Thursday.
Officials with the Michigan health system said the study found the drug “significantly” decreased the death rate of patients involved in the analysis.
The study analyzed 2,541 patients hospitalized among the system’s six hospitals between March 10 and May 2 and found 13% of those treated with hydroxychloroquine died while 26% of those who did not receive the drug died.
Among all patients in the study, there was an overall in-hospital mortality rate of 18%, and many who died had underlying conditions that put them at greater risk, according to Henry Ford Health System. Globally, the mortality rate for hospitalized patients is between 10% and 30%, and it's 58% among those in the intensive care unit or on a ventilator.
