2020 Presidential Race

Lance-Bottoms
I say Val Demings. She crosses two thresholds for him. She has a background in law enforcement. So the "weak on crime" and the "Biden wants to defund the police" narrative takes a body blow. She is also from the state of Florida... a state Biden has to win. Keisha Lance-Bottoms might be my second pick though.

Don't you love the condescending tone though? It comes from these people who never support their beliefs with any additional information. They just act as though they are clued in, and there is something wrong with you, for not thinking as they do.
I've gotten used to it, I guess.

To me, it’s nuts to put a Mayor on the ticket with a 78 year old candidate. The VP needs to look experienced enough to do the job.

Wow. Former Ohio Governor (a Republican), John Kasich, announces that he will be speaking at the Democratic National Convention. He hasn't specifically said that he will be endorsing Joe Biden for President... but why else would he be speaking at the DNC? This is a noteworthy development, and it involves a state (Ohio) that would basically lock in 270 electoral college votes for Biden, if it turns blue.

Thanks Jimmy

Just seems like the way it is going. I hope it isn't her.
I believe it’s going toward Duckworth. People inside Biden’s inner circle don’t believe Harris is very quick on her feet. Outside of Biden’s inner circle l believe she is arrogant, unprepared and lacks political thinking. I’ve never been high on her and I believe that that she should stay in the Senate.

Good news. Duckworth is my first choice.

I understand that she does a lot of thinking lying on her back.

I don't agree with your assessment of Harris. She looked like you would expect a District Attorney to look in cross examination, while taking apart both William Barr and Jeff Sessions during their confirmation hearings. I don't think she will get the nod, because she is from California, as solid blue as there is... and her little dust up with Biden during the first primary debate would be problematic.
