2020 Presidential Race

Not having an audience is a disadvantage for Trump imo. His speaking style and rhetoric works when he has an audience to respond to him, but without the audience it just doesn't work the same. Makes him look petty and vindictive.
They are going to be wild regardless. Both of them are known to have short tempers.
Yea without an audience it’s just a policy debate and Trump isn’t much on policy.

The election will be close regardless of what the polls are saying. The difference is Trump’s pool of likely voters is much smaller simply based on the nation’s changing demographics and he needs a very high percentage of those voters to turn out than Biden who can still win with a relatively lower turnout. Trump’s constant combativeness has soured some of those potential voters which he can ill afford to based off of his tight margins of victory in Michigan and Pennsylvania. Joe Biden simply has to exist and not say something stupid in order to have a great chance at winning. The Republican Party did this to themselves when they pushed for cheap labor and now those policies have created a huge influx of minority voters who overwhelmingly vote Democratic. Even if Trump somehow manages to eek out a victory, the Republican Party as a long term viable option is in decline due to the aforementioned issue and its inability to distinguish itself on most issues from the Democrats. There is no real difference between McConnel, Romney, Collins, Murkowski, Graham, Thune, Grassley, and most Democrats other than political banter.
Speaking of Collins, her career is almost over.

Maine Senate General Election Poll

Public Policy Polling (PPP)

Sara Gideon (D) ..... 47%
Susan Collins (R) .... 42%

President Trump was never very popular in Maine to begin with. It looks like she sided with him one too many times.

Yeah, I don't buy in to baseless conspiracy theories I read on the interwebs, VolNation, or the Q Bros. But you keep on keeping on.
If the liberal left wasn't making the pick for him then their would be white males as possible candidates.

Imagine picking the possible leader of the free world by eliminating the best possible candidates because of their gender & race? What's that called? You know the thing?🤔

Don't you love the condescending tone though? It comes from these people who never support their beliefs with any additional information. They just act as though they are clued in, and there is something wrong with you, for not thinking as they do.

In what smoky, poorly lighted room do you imagine the "liberal-left" picked the VP? I bet some shady folks where there like George Soros, Obama, Stalin's ghost, and Kermit the Frog.

How do you know that?

It was pretty pleasant in this thread this afternoon, some good discussion and fair opinions. Little glimpses of bipartisanship. But the sun is starting to go down. VN PF always gets wild after dark.

Soros Pours Record $50 Million Into 2020 Election

Liberal billionaire spends $30 million more than in 2016 with months left to go before the elections

Liberal billionaire George Soros has flooded Democratic PACs and campaigns with $50 million this election cycle, shattering his personal record by tens of millions with four months to go before the elections.

Soros ramped up his political spending this cycle through the Democracy PAC, which he created last year to pump large sums into the coffers of other left-wing groups. New filings to the Federal Election Commission show the PAC doled out nearly $17 million last quarter, bringing its total cash disbursements this cycle to $48 million. Soros gave another $4 million directly to Democratic campaigns and committees without first depositing the money into his PAC. The $52 million cash influx is more than double Soros's previous high of $22 million, which came during the last presidential election.
