They are quite proportional to major westernized nations such as France, UK, Spain, Italy.

But you're right, it is much more believable that we just did absurdly worse than China, Russia, etc.

Yes - plus look at it from the other end of the equation. Our numbers aren't as high in reality as we are reporting. I would call it a good approximation, but they aren't accurate, and they are off on the high side.

Exactly and even first world countries. Thats another reason I take the numbers in the US with a grain of salt there are way too many variables for everything to be accurate. However I would like to think the US governments numbers being off aren't an intentional act of debit. I think Chinas is.

They key is choice, they can choose to go back to work or not. Hell I never missed a day of work when they were predicting million plus deaths in the US. Maybe I'm a sociopath?
