I picked the stats (deaths per day and positivity rate) that the “this isn’t a big deal” people were using for the last few weeks until they turned against their narrative. You’re the one who tried to use stats from one single day to compare two dissimilar states.

I assume you don’t have any reasons to give in support of your comparison between Tennessee and Maryland?

I'm guessing some will say that there was probably an unknown underlying condition, but it was just unknown. The question I would ask, is what percentage of school-aged kids have unknown underlying conditions, which would place them at high-risk for dying from the virus?

Some might ask, how you can know the unknown? I would offer that statistics could tell us the probability that these children have such an undiagnosed condition.

It seems testing for these conditions is more important than testing for the virus itself, considering we haven't used Covid testing to implement contact tracing to any meaningful degree.

San Francisco bus driver Beaten with Baseball Bat after asking passengers to wear masks: police

Three men boarded the bus operated by the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency – or Muni -- in the city's South of Market neighborhood Wednesday afternoon, San Francisco Police Department Officer Robert Rueca said in a statement Friday. The driver asked the passengers multiple times to wear a mask but they refused, so the driver pulled over to let them off.

“As the victim was escorting the males off the bus one of the males pulled out a wooden bat and struck the victim several times, which caused the victim to be injured," Rueca said. "The suspects fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction."

Officers responded to the scene on 11th and Division Streets around 3:30 p.m. to document the alleged assault. The men also allegedly spat on the driver before then getting off the bus, Fox 2 San Francisco reported, citing unnamed Muni employees and a representative with Transport Workers Union Local 250A. The driver reportedly suffered a fractured finger and was recovering at home.

Cuomo blames NY Post for rising COVID-19 rates in Florida and Arizona

Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Sunday blamed The Post for Florida and Arizona’s surging coronavirus cases.

“The Wall Street Journal, New York Post — they continue to beat a horse that is dead: ‘We should reopen the economy faster in New York,’ ‘The infection rate is low; re-open faster,'” Cuomo ranted to reporters during an early-morning conference call.

“Florida listened to the New York Post. Texas listened to the Wall Street Journal. Arizona listened to the Wall Street Journal and the New York Post. That was wrong. That was wrong.”

New York, where the virus has killed over 32,000 people — many in nursing homes, which were controversially required by Cuomo to admit or readmit recovering COVID-19 patients discharged from hospitals — began a phase re-opening of its economy in early June.

I don’t condone men hitting women...... unless they do something like this.... then I think it’s perfectly acceptable. Too bad the guy was apparently incapacitated

I have no clue about this particular child but in the beginning I was trying to find more info about this illness.... I ran across an article stating 19 yr old youth coach with no underlying conditions dies from coronavirus.... I searched around to find more about it and he was actually already dying from leukemia
