"Masks aren't a political issue. It's just science and safety!"

*Some random person no one knows anything about pictured without a mask*

"Check out this right wing idiot!"

I think most agree some restrictions are smart

Most schools aren’t implementing restrictions, including where I work, that is the issue. Either you choose to be an online student or you go in person with little to no restrictions. Some schools aren’t even offering the online option at all, it’s business as usual

They should mind their own f'ing business
He should have worn a mask or either shut the guy up. He took the weak way out.

This would certainly be an example of the danger of allowing right wing nutjobs to have guns.
Yep. Another scaredy-cat fake tough guy.

He will get all he deserves. lmao

Did you really post a OANN clip? Like in a serious manner? Like for real?

Well maybe you need to do a little research. On her first point: No Known Case of Teacher Catching COVID-19 from Pupils | Bacon's Rebellion

On her second point: CDC website lists over 3,700 virus deaths caused by 'intentional and unintentional injury, poisoning and other adverse events'

On the third: Seroprevalence of Antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 in 10 Sites in the United States, 2020

On the fourth point: T cells found in COVID-19 patients ‘bode well’ for long-term immunity

On the fifth: Older People are Less Pessimistic about the Health Risks of Covid-19

On the last point: People are more likely to contract COVID-19 at home, study finds

By all means you can offer your retorts. I would be interested in reading them.

that is horrible....most georgia schools are starting the school year off online. We signed our son up for Online School for the year. Next year he will be back in his traditional school.

I'm not sure why you would expect any rebuttal, unless you expected me to deny the public perception problem. Absent any other details, there is an effort to present a public perception, which is agenda driven, to prove that Fauci is somehow not to be trusted. I don't think most ranting about hypocrisy were on the fence anyway.
I trust Fauchi about as far as he can throw a baseball.

Did you even read the link?

It says "without restrictions". No one in this thread is for that.

So... In other words, most Americans are for reopening schools.
He didn't read past the headline. It completely backs the number he tried to call me out on but of course that's now being twisted too

If the parents want to send them to a private school or home school them the money should be deducted from the public school system and they should be able to take that money

I agree to some extent. although the schools are going to budget to suit their plans.

No point in one size fits all.

Prove he is a right wing nut job. Also did anyone get shot?

He pulled a gun on someone for asking that he wear a mask. Ergo, by definition he is a loon.

He pulled a gun on someone for asking that he wear a mask. Ergo, by definition he is a Trump supporter.

Together, the inescapable conclusion is that he is yet another Trump loon supporter who should not have access to a gun.

With restrictions, which I agree with but there aren’t any which is what most of you don’t realize.
Actually most have restrictions in place and 7 in 10 (or 70% like I posted and confirmed in your link) are in favor of reopening with those. If they aren't then those 3 in 10 (30%) can choose the online learning

Where do you live? When my county was still going to offer both, in school and online, they had several restrictions they were planning on putting in place.

What about those of us without kids that are paying for inadequate schooling with our taxes? Do we get money back as well?
