You seem to advocate for online or distance learning instead of in person. That will absolutely hurt the academic advancement of many kids. Especially in those large school systems pointed out earlier
The fact that such a large % choose in person learning means the most vocal are a small minority. They should not be allowed to dictate policy
I guess if I were a school board head or something, I would be focusing on online learning for the time being, while focusing in-person learning for those who can't easily be accommodated via internet, or other factors.
But, I'm not, and I wouldn't expect the contingent situation to last indefinitely.
