Pretty sure my “this organization doesn’t deserve Julio” is what set off the beaten dead horse but facts are facts

Just went through Hanson’s 2010 season and Jair’s 2009 season.

Hanson 100 pitches plus: 16

Jair 100 pitches plus: 17

Soroka/Fried 100 pitches plus for comparison in 2020 combined: 8

It’s a completely different regime though. And guys are still young/developing. Look what they did with Soroka in 2018/2019 and how they protected him. Previous regime would have kept throwing him out there

Great now I’m watching old Jair/Hanson videos and thinking what could have been

Soroka and Fried can be co aces of the current staff and Newcomb can be a solid 3rd starter.

I think Wright and Chacin are the 4th and 5th starters respectively.

I would put Wright at 3 and Newcomb at the 4th spot in the rotation at some point this season.
