2020 Presidential Race

Should Chuck Shumer resign from the Senate? He did accept campaign contributions from Epstein back in the day.
That is easier to understand, when you weren't also socializing with him. Trump attended parties at Epstein's mansion. Trump called him a "terrific guy". Epstein and Trump knew each other very well. Trump was in a position to know what kind of people Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell were, and what they were up to with underage girls... Chuck Schumer wasn't.

BS. "Hanging out" with people at parties does not give you special insight into people. That's wishful thinking on your part. Show me where Trump flew on the airplane to the private island and your speculation may have a valid point, but simply comingling at parties means nothing, and you know it.

They did much more than that. Trump and Epstein were close friends.

According to who? I've seen zero reports of them interacting socially away from the party scene, unlike a certain ex-President.
According to Trump. Epstein shouldn't have killed himself. His buddy would have pardoned him by now. I won't be surprised if Trump pardons Maxwell... he did just "wish her the very best".

So speculation is all you have? There's more to support "clintoncide" than there is your bit of speculation.

He might wait until after the election to do it, but just watch... Trump will grant Ghislaine Maxwell a full pardon. He was and probably still is, friends with these people.

Do you feel the Dems in 2024 or 2028 will have room for moderates like Mayor Pete or have they moved so far left?

Also, if Biden wins, do you think he and his administration will slide back to the center?
If Biden wins, I think he will govern from the center-left. He has made some concessions to the Bros and Warren Stans, but there were pretty firm lines put in place back in May that Biden flatly refused to cross when they got the Biden/Bern panel together (M4A, for example). The Bros got some stuff they wanted, but no where near what they would have liked to have. And I know folks will probably bring up the $775 billion dollar plan Biden released concerning universal child care and elder care, but this is not a new proposal. Democrats have been trying to get this passed for years.

The majority of the party has not moved too far left imo. Otherwise, Bernie or Warren would be the nominee. Instead, Biden absolutely destroyed them (and Pete and Amy, etc.) in the primaries. Bernie didn't even win a single county in Michigan. The party is not as far left as folks on here tend to believe, and the evidence is in the votes. Bernie's numbers were down in almost every state from 2016. And he lost to a gay mayor from Indiana in the Iowa caucus. They are very loud, I will grant you that. But they are far, far from the majority. Otherwise, they would have more to hang their hat on than AOC, Omar, Pressley, and Bernie being in Congress.

If people don't think the Mayor Pete's of the party are not the future, then they aren't paying attention or being honest. He's 38, and has a very long career ahead of him in politics.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is the true selfless leadership that America's forgotten men and women wanted when they elected Trump. MAGA!

As long as we get to seize guns and melt them down into gay wedding cake ornaments, I'm good with Biden.

They are undoubtedly very loud. That’s probably where I think of them as the majority of Dems right now.

As I’ve said to you on here before, I respect Mayor Pete. When he won Iowa, I was gladly surprised. I also like Tulsi Gabbard and Andrew Yang, although I do not agree with every idea they have.
