I'm still not sure on what was supposed to have transpired. Forward TN is being accused of presenting a petition requesting that students wear masks to school, comprised of fictitious physicians?

It's believable, but something seems odd with the missing video, considering that facebook group claimed they published it.

Out of curiosity, where to do fall on that debate?

You may have missed the "story" that was reported across the state:

Group of Tennessee doctors calls reopening schools "insane"

I can't find a single colleague who knows anything about this "group," and none of us share this view.

On the topic of the video: I watched it myself, and it has been repeatedly removed.

Because.... The government would never nuke its own soldiers or experiment with people in San Francisco using gases. They would never use US soldiers as volunteers for gas experiments. The CIA would never use people as lab rats. The .gov is friendly and only here to help the citizens. 👀 they have our best interest at heart. 🙄 at your tinfoil.

Yeah, I hadn't seen that. So, none of your colleagues thinks that children should wear masks to school. That surprises me, but I have no reason to doubt it.

Anyway, possibly a fundraising scam. Wouldn't be unusual.

Why do doctors including yourself not share this view if supposedly a third of teachers are considered higher risk? That’s only teachers and doesn’t include the families that could have higher risk children or parents or others they live with.

It wasn’t Randy’s opinion , he used data from other countries , none of them show and increase whatsoever. Did you watch the actual video of Rand using the charts , graphs and data points ?

The graphs and charts might have sold it... but I just think they should ride this out on their Chromebooks, or whatever. No denying that our wave is a relative tsunami compared to most of the world, and packing a bunch of germy kids into classrooms isn't the best idea right now.

And my opinion is the best opinion, don't ya know...

With the exception of Sweden, the other two had very strict quarantines as compared to most of the US. Sweden didn’t but it also has a per capita death rate 10x higher than its neighbors who implemented strict quarantines. What point are you trying to make because you have been against strict quarantines and masks which is what Italy and New York implemented?

My wife’s OB and pediatrician are both for sending kids back. The pediatrician has 4 of his own. The OB has had multiple requests from the local paper for quotes related to Erlanger but he won’t do it. He’s seen how they clip and alter statements to fit a story.
