Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Fed government has no legal way to mandate masks without declaring martial law or congress tying the mandate to funding by passing a law.

As much as you guys want more power in the feds hands you’d think you take some time and learn how things work.
Who says it is Congress's job to pass laws?

Been that way for some time

Not going to lie, I had some pretty liberal minded teachers in HS that most likely toked the bong and watched a significant amount of porn but were overall decent people. A few of them were in la la land 24/7. Also had some extreme right-wing teachers that were pretty cool, but others were giant douche sandwiches. If it has transformed to that degree, then my kid can remain in private school. Kind of skeptical, especially in E TN though.

Those that don't know their history are doomed to repeat it. Conspiracy theories to boot.

Enjoy the ride then, I suppose.

I would love to see your answers to the questions you posed. And the data to back them up. Funny how you throw around the conspiracy word. That was used when some said the numbers were being severely manipulated. Turns out that they were.
But I guess when the best you can come up with is “conspiracy theories to boot” then you must go with that.

No it's not. It's not the feds job to baby sit people or local governments.

It's the people's job to vote for responsible individuals who can actually lead, instead of following.

Sad thing is no changes will be made.

I get that. But isn’t it the Feds job to step in when it’s shown that state and local governments cannot handle something. If not, then why? All I am saying is how much suffering needs to be inflicted before the POTUS can say that’s it we are going to help?

Nah but I didn’t bring up online classes instead of school .
I didn't bring up online classes specifically but it is included in the studies on online learning comparative to classroom which was a response to a comment from @volfanhill suggesting the left is ignoring science. So If you didn't want to talk about it, you shouldn't have responded by suggesting I advocated firing teachers.

The governor's are the ones who declare state emergencies that can then access resources the president has made available. Trump made things available. You had the boat and the ventilators in NYC when Cuomo was railing that he needed help. And there was very little usage of those federal resources. In the biggest city hit the hardest. Why would a national federally backed supply be used any more to be needed?

Maryland bought tests from South Korea instead of the CDC ones.

Heck Trump got lambasted for getting tests from China as a waste and sign that he was in bed with Xi.

In this case you cant say there is a national emergency that is effecting everywhere anywhere close to equally to be needing mobilized federal support.

For several months you had the feds paying for tests and emergency shelters all over with the idea the states knew they had to step up once the money was gone. Once the feds stopped paying for it people were angry at Trump and not their local governors after Trump had filled his end of the bargain.

No one is reacting like this is an emergency, except to have their hands stuck out to the feds. Which is a clear sign it's not an emergency worthy of federal support.

No point in confusing anti-mask / CV19-hoax conspiracy theorists with facts.

Operating from the perspective of "whatever Trump says is right" makes far more sense.

Who said whatever Trump says is right? Are you incapable to answer your own questions backed up with facts? Also, what hoax conspiracy are you referring to?

Another person playing hindsight is 20/20 I see. Early batches of testing kits were faulty. Also I wonder what the response would have looked like if Trump ignored Fauci even earlier? Probably in better shape than now.

Be real. The whole world knew Trump was f'ing up our coronavirus response by late February.
