Mask Exposed - Do they really help or hurt?

According to these ladies:
Most homemade masks do nothing to protect you or others. Virus particles are too tiny and pass right through and can be dangerous to wear for other reasons.
Most masks do very little due to bad fitting to your face.

More than one incident of armed white men in MAGA hats entering businesses in defiance of the posted requirement to wear masks has been reported. A recent report from Kansas (Google it) prompted my post. Your reply exposes your prejudicial view - "preaching," "label," haven't seen any Trump Supporters posting to VN in defiance of the rights and requirements of businesses... They have been mandatory at the wal mart where I live..... I feel if a business wants you to wear them then you should or take your business elsewhere..... it does crack me up though watching the people walking by the wal mart greeter pretending they don’t exist as the greeter is going sir/ma’am you have to be wearing a mask.

I call BS on the Kansas report.... a guy comes into a restaurant talking about Maga, with a gun, refusing a mask and not a single patron caught any of it on video.

Here you go .. you can put any sign you want on your doors with the right to refuse me service . I don’t beg anybody to take my money in exchange for your goods . I’ll just visit your competition or order it from EBay . 😊

So my kid tested postitive. The wife and I tested negative. Wife and I both got sick, and our kid is asymptomatic.

I just don't get it. I'm not understanding something.

Stay safe. I hope your kid stays asymptomatic. My sister still had not received her results, but feels fully recovered.

My wife and step daughter tested positive. I tested negative and had the same symptoms.
The tests just aren’t good enough yet. The sensitivity (true positive rate) and specificity (true negative rate) of the test aren’t where we need them to be from a public health standpoint.

I was thinking about all the dumbass “fixes” some of the idiotic politicians, athletes and pop culture jumped on and how they just repeat all these idiotic things they hear from so called experts
First it was 15 days to flatten the curve
Then it was wash your hands wear gloves and stay apart
Then it was shut it all down for months
Now the same idiots are pushing this mask crap

These people know nothing, it’s all about control
