Perhaps all those who refuse to wear a mask will agree not to put all those front line workers at risk by showing up at ER’s for treatment if they get COVID. You know you were smart enough to know better than to wear a mask you are smart enough to cure yourself. Take the pledge

Its a shame and I gather friends and family realize he thought better of his decision down the line. It is such an easy thing to do, its just not that much of an intrusion into daily life and you can keep yourself and others safe. Some sort of contrived romanticized version of freedom in not wearing one is just flat out stupid.

What I'm saying is that Trump winning changed the way people viewed the world. (I'm talking basically about the 35 and under crowd) It changed what they thought they new and understood about the world around them and human nature in general. It suddenly turned into a world that they did not recognize, a much darker and depressing place in which to live. It's in that sense that I compare the two. Trump winning was harder to process than Covid causing things to shut down - that they can understand and process. A loved one getting cancer is horrible, but it is something that fits into their understanding of the world. A parent losing their job is devastating but it is something that can be understood (a causes b and b causes c). Trump winning took the world as they knew it and turned it upside down. In that way it's similar to what we are experiencing now.

Like it or not, agree or disagree, that was the instantly changed reality for millions. (no other republican candidate would have had that effect - it was and is a Trump thing)

I think that is some of the most ridiculous bull **** I have ever read. To suggest Trump being elected devastated their world more than losing their job, or more specifically a loved one??? You are insane if you truly believe that. Trump being in the Oval Office changed nothing. The world was still the same place. I get people can't stand him and I agree he's an insufferable prick, but him getting elected did not "change the world".

I tell you what, you start with the people who have pulmonary diseases from smoking, and the diabetics from horrible eating habits and then you can talk to the mask rebels.

You have never been able to understand the reactions to Trump, I'm trying to give you a little insight.
