Thanks everyone for the thoughts and prayers. My father in law passed away about 45 minutes ago...I am just glad my wife got down there in time to be with him and her family before he passed. I am headed down there in the morning.

My mothers last words to me are the greatest comfort..."There’s a brighter day..everything is gonna be alright"
Take comfort in knowing that he's not in pain or suffering and he's in a much better place.

@bignewt "s golf shoes.....

Sorry. Had too.;)

why though

Easily. By building herd immunity. This isn't the bubonic plague. Survival rate is ridiculously high. Lets stop making this out to be something it isn't. It's time to return to normal. We'll be just fine.
Speaking of the bubonic plague, did you see the article that said China has reported the plague in one of their provinces? A well placed nuke would pretty much take care of their issues over there.

Ok even though you all know I think the whole thing is borderline ridiculous, I say they play without fans this fall. Whenever they come into the facility, they are wearing a mask, get temp checked and given sanitizer, same for game days. Testing before each game on game day. We beat Florida at home finally. Carry on.

You’ve had a rougher year than many I can remember. Stay strong and allow your faith to fill in as needed. Bunch of people have you in their best of thoughts.

Is there a list of the 16 sports additional that they played? I am curious. Not sure that I could come up with 16 more.

The Stanford Quidditch team was highly ranked with national championship aspirations this year. Surely they dropped a non revenue sport such as football or basketball. They packed the stadium for their Quidditch team. 😁

I saw two they dropped were synchronized swimming and squash. Seriously.

The first P5

conveniently kicking the decision on football down the road. Tbf we swill have almost two months so a lot can happen. Still need to see what happens with hospitalization and death rates as increased testing is magnifying the second wave relative to the first (and who knows how many cases go unreported still). We may still be able to find a level of restrictions that allow us to function. We need everyone to take this **** seriously though.

Honestly it depends on if the media continues with their mass hysteria or not. If they didn't take off with this thing in March having a football season or not wouldnt be a debate right now. Its not going away we have to learn to live with it.
