I would if you'd stop playing coy. Are you really so thin skinned that you are having a meltdown over being called cynical? Because I stand by that. You stated that my post was misdirection. I say that's a cynical interpretation of my post and I stand by it. Given how you're acting, there's nothing more to argue. I'd be happy to discuss it rationally if that's what you want tho.

Or penalize both. Not reasonable to only and always penalize the defense, especially in this case.

I didn’t “interpret” your post...I RESPONDED to it. You downplayed her perspective and use of historical context, and I commented on it. There’s no argument involved here. You’re playing word games and projecting thin skinned status to myself. I have a feeling any “discussion” would be deemed irrational on my part in your professional opinion and is therefore unnecessary. Just declare yourself right and we’ll resume our lives...or meltdowns as you call them. 😏

Goodbye to all small biz nationwide. Amazon, Walmart, and all the chain restaurants are loving this. They can withstand the shutdown. Local retail stores, bars, and restaurants cannot. We march ever further into the corporate dystopia.

In that case, my Grandad (Pop) was too old for WW2. But between growing up eating squirrel meat on a Rural Hall farm, raising three kids after going through damn.... and retiring from Grayhound ... he developed quite a system. Talk about a tight wad. He would die a millionaire - no one had a clue.

To this day, I love the idea of taking things that would otherwise be thrown out as garbage - and reusing them.

Talk about personality. I guess people back then used to enterain each other ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . He grew everything he ate, fav sammich was Slice of Tomato, Lettuce, & Mayo on White Bread - with pepper!

Pop had a Magnolia tree in his front yard, that Mom played under as a little girl. Years later he would take a cutting from that tree and plant it in my Mom's yard. The acidity of leaves kills anything under it, perfect place for a fort.

When my oldest was born, rented a chain saw and took out a 30 year old Juniper bush & root system. First purchase was a Magnolia tree.

I always tell my girls that story. It's perfect place to build a fort or place to hide.

It's just bars. Small retail is still open. There are some popular local bars/restaurants that did well with drive up. The good brands will be fine.

We're going to have to agree to disagree. I must've downplayed myself as well since I was also talking about the past at one point and will probably still continue to do so given that I enjoy talking about history and learning about what others experienced during that timeframe. I simply agreed with another that was quoted that we were all talking about the past when we've got plenty of problems today and expounded on that. I also said we needed football but eh, I guess that didn't help you respond (I'd say interpret but since you're adamant about not intrepreting we'll use your preferred language) to what I stated. You took the stuff about past suffering not helping those currently suffering and ran (and unless we're talking about sociopaths who enjoys the suffering of others - past or present?). I responded to your response.

As the author of the post you called misdirection, I assert that I know my intentions better than you do and that you are flat out incorrect. It takes a very cynical reading of what I typed to respond to my post how you responded or perhaps you misread the author's intentions.

Was just going to post the same. We've been waiting so long to have another bully OL and we finally have it and then some. If we get robbed of seeing them, ughhh. Even a handful of games will do 😑
