Culinary, Arts, Thread.

I tried to watch it when it was new to video. Just had no interest. Tried again not long ago and after about 15 minutes I just gave up.

It was one of those that just slipped through the cracks for me and now the time has passed to watch it.

Great Seinfeld episode though.

@Behr and @joevol33 you should check out time changer and the secrets of Jonathan Sperry. Movies with a great message and I thought was very entertaining.

Ill be honest BigO, I've pretty much stopped watching those types of movies. It will probably come across as hypocritical and even judgmental and I'm fine with that, but I don't look for that type of a "message" from Hollywood and I don't trust any of those actors honesty. I could look past that and just be entertained and if it provoked positive thoughts even better, but 19 out of 20 times everything about them is just terrible and fake. The acting is horrible and everything about them seems to be "trying too hard".

I can't even name all the ones I tried several months ago and finished one.

I probably shouldnt have responded and kept this opinion to myself, but I this is something I think about often.

Edit: BTW, where I said judgmental, I didn't mean towards you....at all. I meant towards the people involved in the movie.

Had to google. Heaven is for real is that 1 out of 20 that I finished and actually liked. I'm a fan of Greg Kinnear. He's underrated IMO.

Him and Matt Damon in "stuck on you" tickled me.

I agree that most are trash. I just really enjoyed these two. And I certainly don't get my theology from Hollywood.

Yea, I know and didn't mean to imply that.

I just looked them up and I'll try that Johnathan Sperry one, it had like 3 1/2 stars. But if it turns out being trash I'm gone invite you to Waffle House.
