Culinary, Arts, Thread.

I knew what you meant and agree. Running restaurants down here on or near the beach during season has live music almost if not every night. Margaritaville gets played at least twice every. Single. Night. For 4-5 months. I could probably sing it backwards.

That said, I don't care if I ever hear it again, but if and when I do the next time, I'll probably listen to it and sing along.

I still like Margaritaville, but Cheeseburger in Paradise is like nails on a chalkboard to me for some reason.

But a cheeseburger sure sounds good right now. The Acai bowl I am having is refreshing, but not substantive.

Another Culinary Commandment....

Thou shalt not disrespect pulled pork.

I remember someone once telling me that sauce on ribs is to cover up not knowing how to cook ribs. Must be different for pulled pork.

Honestly? I get it, it ain't that big of a deal, but to me personally, its in the same category as Lobster Mac and Cheese. Good pulled pork belongs to be thoroughly enjoyed either by itself or on a bun/sandwich bread/cornbread. Not on top of spaghetti noodles.

Never heard of BBQ spaghetti until here ha

Yea, I can see that. I like mine with lettuce and tomato.....uh oh. Lulz.

I've lost 4.2 lbs since last Thursday. I'd love a bacon cheeseburger right NOW.

Last two shows my wife and I saw before she got sick were Tim Wilson and Gillian Welch at the Paramount in Bristol.
Edit: man, I miss Tim Wilson in a big way

Why Don't We get Drunk takes me back to the Tap Room on the strip.
Takes me back to the late 80's at O'Charley's. My first management job and I was 1st Assistant GM which was responsible for the Bar/Alcohol...(big mistake) lulz. Had a Big juke box that had that on their so it got played every night at closing.

Pirate looks at 40 is a good one. Death of an unpopular poet is my favorite, but “defying gravity” and “African friend” are right there too

I don’t like the vinegar base of Eastern N.C. a good sweet sauce (in moderation) is fantastic. Some people make such good pulled pork that sauce isn’t needed. I need to make more friends that can do that.

Anyone that chops their pork is dead to me

I don't use sauce on pulled pork unless its a sammich. Even if its not great pulled pork.

I like sauce on my Ribs and I don't care if its vinegar based or thick as sorghum, as long as its good, and I'm a legendary very picky connoisseur of the BBQ sauce, in my on mind.

So how do you eat it, grab the whole shoulder by the bone and starting eating it like a cave man? Pulled pork can be stringy and hard to eat sometimes mr bbq connersewer.

I’ve never experienced stringy. Pulling it always works for me. Chopped let’s too much of the juices get away imo

Im no parrot head, but after moving here his songs definitely have more meaning. Like Fins, I never really connected to it until I moved here. Now, I know many girls that song is about.

I've questions. Long boring story why I ask, but do any of you wear reading glasses that are 3.25 power or higher? If so, where do you buy them?
