When his cycling gym bade him farewell, there was a lot of scrambling by BRA to make it seem like foolishness by VQ posters...pretty disingenuous. Per his thread, he’s been living in NY for two weeks.

All I saw was Brent saying he still worked here. And, it’s not common to announce staff leaving in advance. If his wife is already working at Col Presbyterian, it makes sense they have a place whether he is there or not.

This probably won't surprise you either..my old business partner is a multimillionaire several times over now...because while I was partying my life away blowing every last dime..he was buying and developing property all over Whitfield, Murray, Gordon and Catoosa counties back when it was still pretty cheap..

Such is the payday for hard living..🤷‍♂️

Millions are great but life experiences and crazy stories are nice too.....I'd still take doing the smart thing and making millions but you gotta look at the silver lining sometimes.

I had a similar path as you and since I've started doing kindnesses for others I've been constantly blessed.

“Jesse remains a valuable member of the VQ staff.” Before that Monday Chat...disingenuous.

I didn’t say anything about it because I had to make plans. My daughter-in-law had to get tested for Covid-19 last Saturday, because she was sick, couldn’t breathe and had just got back from Murtle Beach and because I had been around them, had to self quarantine from the time I had been around them. Results came back just now, negative. God is good 🙏

From 247, Trey Smith:

"The reason I'm so outspoken right now, and the reason I'm trying to make an effective change is because, you know, I had a grandfather that fought in France and World War Two, and he came back to Mississippi and they treated him like crap,” Smith said in part of his lengthy conversation on race. “He had to fight for everything he had, and I’m still fighting this battle that he fought, and I want to leave the world better for my kids.”

“I love Vol Fans because TRUE volunteers come together to help in times of crisis! That’s what we are about! No divisive rhetoric simply UNITY.”

Alvin Kamara defends Trey Smith after criticism on Twitter

There's always gonna be that guy or that girl but it's always ugly to see it. I know Trey and all the other players of color won't see my post but I'm sorry they have to deal with this. At the same time, I'm proud of them for leading the way and I'm proud to stand beside them in their fight. Don't give up hope, guys (and gals) we will get there.

What's sad is 10, 20, 30% of the social media comments are similar. "Shut up and dribble" type comments. It is sad to see.

Unless you are talking about his most recent post, which is even worse. He described being called the "n-word" by a random person at the age of 4!

Idk. Playing a sport you love being coached by a guy that sends lots of guys to the NFL and getting tens of thousands of dollars in free college and board while having dedicated staff to help with school work and a chance to show the country on Saturdays you're capable of the playing on Sundays while being treated as kings on campus for being on the football team doesn't sound THAT bad. Maybe it's just me though!
