At first I was a little skeptical, but now I am coming around to it that someone that had this bright idea actually worked. But since I have not been positive yet it seems to work. I mean I never thought that the leading scientist on this knew what he was talking about. So I went with the guy that seems to be on the money with everything. It was perfect and beautiful. But if you guys never here from me again it's because the rona got me, not my method.

I was lucky enough to get to the store just as they was offloading this miracle, otherwise I am sure it would have been gone off the shelves in 5 minutes, cause all the smartest people know who to really listen to in a crisis.

@Catbone still has a girlfriend (j/k, happy for you)
@InVOLuntary has not returned to at least give @Orange Studs some crap about something
I am not getting @RiotVol and @Rishvol confused at least a 100 times a week
@Atlanta VOL's detractors have pretty much shut up (not really surprising at all since AV has been spot on)
@butchna has not been given a vacation
@Ulysees E. McGill partnered in a legit business before he was rescued
@volatil has conquered his sideways picture block
@HankHill has not run down JG in a good while
@VOLSONLY has let two consecutive posts go by without liking them at least a couple of times
@nicksjuzunk posts his Alonzo Mourning GIF with much less regularity
@BaldBiker is still alive


The least surprising things about the first six months of 2020

@utvols88 is still a Karen who does not like coffee and still is a manager at Applebee's
@Freak continues to run the best message board around (no, I am not trying to get invited to the bbq)
@Sleegro (theoretically) still has not clicked on his notifications
@Big Gucci Sosa is still trying to stir the pot
@Bearwallow Bandit has disappeared again
@VolunteerHillbilly still has little positive to say about CJP
Lyle Jones still sucks
@coskramer still posts often about the best franchise in the history of sports (Your Chicago Cubs, of course)


2020 has been the biggest nutkick ever so far, but we as Vol fans should be able to endure it as we always do and move forward in the Decade of The Vols

Not exactly sure. The Shelby County Health Department has publicly stated that they really don’t want to make masks mandatory. The county attorney gave an opinion that the county commission doesn’t have the authority to do it- only the health department.

My guess is the authority comes through the governor’s executive orders. Two days ago, it was reported that our county is seeking advice from the state about it.

Correct. But to be fair, I think most legislators were fine with the initial executive orders from the governor. Also, you can check and balance it in court, and the TN Supreme Court suspended most hearings for a month and a half. So, they were in line too. There are still no jury trials until tomorrow (unless extended) statewide and none in Shelby County until the end of August.

It's interesting. HBO doesn't care about budgets, interesting. I'm hyper critical of them. Most everyone ive seen are fruity or simply obscenly fake to the point of insult.

This one gets it. The only hindrance is the period stuff. Somehow it works.

Which is a big reason that a lot of people seek diagnosticians when normal doctors can’t figure out what is going on. It is honestly a big fail by our medical system.

I am old enough that I was taught to use any testing to confirm my diagnosis.
Now the testing is used to make the diagnosis.

Huge difference between the two methods.
Funny thing, insurance industry found that physicians from my generation have very cost efficient practices.
Unfortunately, there’s a whole new patient population that comes in demanding extensive testing (because of internet research), and frequently most if not all of the demanded testing is unwarranted...makes it difficult.

So what I am seeing here is if we pack Neyland and put a cap on age at 50 years old we will more than likely spread the virus and the death rate of the spread will be similar to less than that of the flu. I say less than that because of what we cannot measure in asympomatic cases.

That's all I have to see to say LET'S DO THIS!

Lithgow’s colloquialisms like “boyo” Etc, bugged me in the first episode, but I was fine with them in episode 2.

My life in Vol Nation life has been so peaceful without Invol harassing me. :p But I am concerned about Invol. The last I heard I believe his Mom had gotten much worse and I don't think his Dad is doing so well either. I do miss him giving me a hard time on some post of mine. We really became closer on here because of our parents going through the Dementia at the same time. Hope we hear from him soon.
