I attended a Clinton rally before the 92 election. I didn't wind up voting for him that year, but he definitely conveyed excitement and enthusiasm. No doubt.

At city hall, protesters who have set up an Occupy City Hall camp clashed with police on Tuesday morning. The protesters have been there now for a week and are refusing to leave until the NYPD budget is cut by at least $1billion - something that is likely to happen on Tuesday.

Mayor Bill de Blasio has reached an agreement with the city council that divests $1 Billion from the NYPD and cancels the hiring of 1,163 cops.

Some Democrats say it is a step in the right direction and that the police force - like others across the country - needs to be stripped of its power and resources to combat systemic racism and excessive use of force.

Slick Willy is a guy I’d sit and have a beer or 9 with just to hear war stories . You just know he’s loaded with them . On the flip side of that , I wouldn’t waste the energy to throw an empty beer bottle at Hills . 😂

I wasn't old enough to vote then, I doubt I would have voted for him even if I were able to. Although compared to this dem party he seems normal. I also would enjoy drinking with him and just listening to his stories.

Bill was a likable guy , personable and approachable. He was everything that Hillary lacked , that’s why she brought him along to her meet and greets .

After 94, he had to work with the other side of the aisle quite a bit. 2000 Florida is when the crazy train went off the rails for the Dems. It's been nothing but partisan ******** ever since.

I didn’t vote for him either bc a lot of his speeches were such BS but I think he turned out to be a pretty decent president.

My family are big Republicans, but they’ve said they didn’t mind the Clinton years at all. They were pretty good. I was born in 91, so I was just a kid for his presidency.

Only kind of unrelated, but now that we've seen that we can campaign by video and run entire corporations through Zoom meetings, can we stop paying hundreds of millions of dollars flying the POTUS around the country?

I'm not saying zero travel, but if the POTUS wants to tour the Bratwurst Fesitval in Sheyboygan (or other such swing state silliness) we are at a huge cost/benefit deficit for the American people.

And yes when I'm POTUS, my personal helipad near Neyland stadium is going to be thrown back in my face I'm sure. It probably won't be as bad as when I make the Vol Navy an official branch of the U.S. military, though.

Shaun King's PAC gave $460,000 to consulting companies registered to PAC leaders

The left-wing activist and former Bernie Sanders surrogate Shaun King is among the most visible faces of the Black Lives Matter movement. The former Daily Kos blogger is also one of its prominent fundraisers: In 2017, King founded a political action committee—the Real Justice PAC—with an eye toward driving criminal-justice reform across the country using the same mass mobilization techniques employed by the Sanders campaign.

But over the past 15 months, the Real Justice PAC, staffed by a number of left-wing activists, has funneled a quarter of the money it has brought in back to companies linked to PAC leaders.

Since January of 2019, the PAC has cut dozens of checks totaling more than $460,000 to three political consultancy firms linked to PAC employees. The PAC's data strategist, Jin Ding, and its treasurer, Becky Bond, manage two of them: Social Practice LLC and Bernal Alto LLC. The third—Middle Seat Consulting—was cofounded by one of the PAC's original leaders, Hector Sigala.

Ding, the PAC's technology strategist, is registered as the manager for the California-based Social Practice LLC and Bernal Alto LLC in the firms' state filings. Social Practice received nearly $250,000 from Real Justice PAC this cycle for campaign consulting and digital services. Bernal Alto, which dissolved earlier this year, was paid $20,000 for consulting and organizing services. Bond, a cofounder of the PAC and former senior adviser to Bernie Sanders's 2016 presidential campaign, is also listed as a manager for both companies. Progressive digital firm Middle Seat Consulting, which was cofounded by Sigala, received $193,000 from the PAC for advertising services.
