FYI..Just because you have a mask on doesn't mean you need to get nut to butt in the store lines...I've been seeing a lot of that lately.

I love the folks saying I don't wear one because I am not scared of catching it. You wear one not to protect yourself so much as to protect others, but way to be selfish and not think of others.

How bout this one?

I didn't wear one at first, but after a couple trips to the grocery store, I started feeling really bad walking by all the elderly people. So I do wear one now.
Ironically, the majority of people I see without masks are old people.

Depends on what the butt looks like.
Its been mine lately..

Was at Lowes yesterday, standing on their public education based 6 feet markers and and I hear someone start talking right behind me. An old black dude standing inches from me with his mask under his nose.

Seems to me the Covid is going after a lot of natural selection refugees..

...the possibility that you don’t always know what you think you know.
Then we should just make masks in public a federal law forever right?

I'm not sick. The "asymptomatic" spread of the disease isn't even understood but is considered to be very rare according to the WHO. WHO..could be fake news though..

Asymptomatic infection may be rare, and transmission from an asymptomatic person is very rare with other coronaviruses, as we have seen with Middle East Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus. Thus, transmission from asymptomatic cases is likely not a major driver of transmission. Persons who are symptomatic will spread the virus more readily through coughing and sneezing.

Maybe the risk is low, but there’s a lot of “may” and “likely” in there. In the end, I just don’t get the point of expending energy over something that's a temporary inconvenience.

I’m definitely not somebody who would give it a second thought if I saw you walk past without a mask.

I wore one for the first time Saturday since they became mandatory in our county when inside the grocery store. Fun in the Florida sun!

"Wearing a mask poses mental risk to [you]"

Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic.

By this logic, if I don't wanna wear a shirt and shoes in a publc store... or for that matter any clothes whatsoever... I just print me out an imaginary ADA "I don't need to disclose any medical conditions to you" card and if you don't let me do what I wanna do, I'll threaten to have you sued for up to $92K?!?!?

Mhhhmmmm....

We have a winner!

I wear one if it's required or requested by the business. I will wear one when required to fly again. We all wore one when visiting my wife's grandmother even though we were a good distance away. I wear it every time I leave my desk at work since these are their rules and I like getting paid.

I'm not against their voluntary use or a businesses choice to require. I'm against their obvious misuse/increased spread danger and the hypocrisy surrounding who needs to be shamed for not wearing one vs who has a valid reason
