Transgender Hollywood star Laverne Cox and Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) pushed for the defunding of the police in a joint appearance Thursday on Watch What Happens Live, during which Sen. Harris said that putting more cops on the streets is “just wrong.”

Laverne Cox expressed her enthusiasm about the Defund the Police movement in the virtual conversation. “The fact that there’s a national conversation about defunding the police, I think is remarkable. And that people of all races are having that conversation is really exciting to me.”

Host Andy Cohen asked Sen. Harris to give her take on defunding the police. The senator, who served as California’s attorney general before being elected to Congress, said that the movement is really about “reimagining public safety.”

Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” host Tucker Carlson warned of the headwinds facing President Donald Trump’s reelection bid this November.

According to Carlson, Trump should be in a good position to win reelection, but as circumstances have it, he is not.

“Not many people are saying it out loud on the right, but the fact is that President Trump could well lose this election,” he said. “In fact, unless fundamental facts change soon, it could be tough for him to be reelected. If the president does lose, that means just a few months from now, Joe Biden would become the president. The United States government would fall into the control of the radicals who controlled Joe Biden, and they will remake the country. Now, we are fully aware that virtually nobody watching the show tonight wants to hear that, but it’s true, and key people around the president know that it’s true. They’ve seen the numbers. They’re concerned.”

“At some point in the future, historians will marvel at the fact that the president lost ground during a pandemic and then during mass riots,” Carlson continued. “Both crises should have highlighted this. Alone among national leaders, Donald Trump warned Americans for decades about China and the perils of globalization. Everything about the Wuhan coronavirus proved Donald Trump right. China really is our main global adversary pair. The Chinese government really does want to take over the world. Meanwhile, the fact that we sent our manufacturing base abroad really weakened us, badly. The most powerful nation on earth no longer makes antibiotics. Maybe we are not as powerful as we think. All of that is very obvious now after the pandemic, but Donald Trump called it. You think voters would reward him for that. You, the riots would have increased their support for him. an awful lot of people voted for Donald Trump precisely to avoid a moment we are now in. None of this arrived suddenly. We saw it coming. Social cohesion in America has been eroding for decades. People sensed that. It made them nervous. It should make them nervous. Donald Trump seemed like insurance against the consequences of that.”

Get real. Stephanie Grisham was the White House Press Secretary from July of 2019 until April of 2020. She never did hold a press briefing. The Trump Presidency has been the least accessible administration for the press in modern history. Trump doesn't hold press conferences, and he only grants interviews to his allies at Fox News.

Did I miss something or did Trump recently hold a press conference for about 30 straight days? I'm not sure how to respond to denial except say that I ain't buying what you're selling.

Specifically to address COVID-19? Yes, he did... but that was all that was discussed, and he spent most of the time telling us what a great job he was doing.

So Trump says stupid things , I agree , I’ve heard him . I have not seen a decline in his cognitive speech though . We have all seen it in Biden’s . I don’t care what side you are on , if you don’t think Joes mental ability hasn’t declined you aren’t being honest . You should think about that , if he wins you will be doing a ton of back peddling and whatboutisms to try and play it off .

Trump absolutely has trouble speaking at times. There are videos out there of his mumbles and garbled speech. I think he's on uppers when he goes to speak and some times they wear off. He's an old man who didn't take care of himself very well. It happens
