I don't have a problem with a president respecting the Constitution and respecting states' rights prior to any federal intervention. Why do people have such a problem with the President treating this country like a Republic and pushing for States Rights before Federal interference. I’m actually rather pleased he’s kept the Feds out of it for the most part. It was expected to see the Feds respond in D.C.
If the States would step up this insanity could have been over as soon as it started. Protestors could have enjoyed much more peaceful rallies if no tolerance for bullshite policies, like riots, were being upheld. If seeing that certain states are endorsing darn near anarchy doesn’t get one’s gears turning as to questioning why, folks may be dipping at the partisan well to deeply.
I do have a problem with a president that seemingly doesn't have an adequate understanding of the Constitution, who apparently cannot summons an ounce of empathy, and who sees the office of president of the United States as nothing more than an opportunity to broaden the "trump brand."
IMO, history will prove that we have the wrong leader for the monumental crisis' we are currently facing. Pulling the wool over our eyes in the name of the "trump economy" or "federal judge appointments", IMO, is actually dipping in the partisan well too deeply.
