Be sure to check out the eateries I mentioned. If you don't want to go a sit-down place, and just need sandwiches, breakfast biscuits, or pizza, go to the Trading Post. Hot food is inside store on far left. Like I mentioned earlier, the Donut Shop is right there in the parking lot, too. The Trading Post has all kinds of groceries and supplies, if you don't want to go into Port St. Joe to the Piggly Wiggly. It's about 20 minutes or so into town. Feel free to any questions.I actually can't wait to get there. I've been googling and daydreaming!
You could stay at my place, but my wife doesn't want anybody staying there. I actually wouldn't mind.If you amended the rule to exclude the Gramps' thread, no one would think any less of you. Well maybe '79 would, but who cares about him.
My wife looked at rentals to see if we could get a second place, but she said everything was booked. I guess that's a good sign.
Thanks. I took a screenshot of the post where you suggested stuff. I'm sure I'll hit you up while we're there.Be sure to check out the eateries I mentioned. You should get on google map and take a drive out the road with the little yellow man that you can put on the highway. The Trading Post is at 4975 Cape San Blas Road and Barrier Dunes is a couple of miles farther out on the Cape. Both are on the left side of the road going out. I think Barrier Dunes has a couple or three pools, but I don't know if only certain sections get to use certain pools. Be sure and take a drive out in the St. Joseph state park. The entrance is real close to Barrier Dunes. You can rent kayaks out there and go out in the bay.Thanks. I took a screenshot of the post where you suggested stuff. They have a nice, modern Pig down there.Piggly Wiggly ..... they still around? I use to work in one part-time after HS class. First kind of a job at 16.
Stocking shelves & bagging groceries & taking those to the customer's car..... that type of thing. You've got to start somewhere in life & that was it.
They're just going to cram whoever shows up into the one condo. It probably will not be any more than 10 at any one time and it comfortably sleeps 8. (9 and 10 on a pull out couch)You could stay at my place, but my wife doesn't want anybody staying there. I actually wouldn't mind.
You don't have to sell me on '72, he's been one of my favorites since I stumbled into the PF abyss.Yep, Luther we are all brothers in the Gramps thread. He wouldnt have had it any other way, either. Such a kind old dude.
* except for gators. Vol brethren are brothers. Percy gets a pass bc he is just a good ole boy fisherman. It wasnt his fault he was raised down there and not in Gods country up in the Hills. LG is still LG though. We tolerate him, but just barely...and its probationary.
I forgot to mention Coneheads. I think they pissed a lot of folks off after the hurricane for some reason. I believe It had something to do with Facebook posts. I'll have to ask my wife. She read up on the controversy. I just don't remember what it was about.I'm sure '72 recommended it, but Coneheads is pretty much directly across the street from Barrier Dunes and the food has been great every time we have eaten there.
